The Bigotry of ‘Intersectionality’
Algemeiner ^ | 3/30 | Alan Dershowitz

Posted on 03/30/2017 6:35:03 PM PDT by ErikJohnsky

What do the terrorist group Hamas and the anti-violence group Black Lives Matter have in common? What does the democracy of Israel have in common with the antisemitic Ku Klux Klan? What does the Islamic Republic of Iran, which throws gays off rooftops, have in common with gay-rights activists? What do feminists have in common with radical Islamic sexists who support the honor killing and genital mutilation of women? Nothing, of course. Unless you subscribe to the pseudo-academic concept of interesectionality.

Intersectionality – the radical academic theory according to which all forms of social oppression are inexorably linked — has become a code word for anti-American, anti-Western, anti-Israel and antisemitic bigotry. Nowhere has adoption of this radical paradigm been more pronounced then on college campuses, where — in the name of “identity politics” and “solidarity” — artificial coalitions are formed among causes that have nothing to do with each other except a hatred for their fellow students who are “privileged” because they are white, heterosexual, male and especially Jewish.

This is reminiscient of Ronald Reagan in the 1950s and 1960s when he moved from lib to conservative; even tho Dersh is old to get into politics, many young Jews (who make up many votes in swing states and could help boost fundraising) could start moving.

Intersectionality: Racism, sexism, CIS-ism, etc. are rarely found in isolation. They are connected to one another therefore when you encounter ONE in one person, the others also exist.

SO JUST CALL THEM EVERYTHING IN THE BOOK —it’s all good.

Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw originated the term Intersectionality, also called Intersectionality Theory for extra, "I'm better than you" pizzaz.

I don't know the HTML code for putting an Accent Aigu over the "E" terminating her first name, but that IS how this pretentious lawyer academic writes it (update - caught a break and pasted it in). It seems there ALWAYS has to be some type of affectation in the names of such characters, but at least she isn't calling herself "Field Marshall" or something.

She'll probably add that in at some future point.

alt + 130 is how to get the “é.”

She looks like she put sticky tape on her head and dunked it in the toilet.

I don’t know about HTML, but I put the accent aigu by using the ascii code [alt]0233 (hold down alt while typing 0233 on the number pad).
[alt]0232 = è
[alt]0224 = à
[alt]0231 = ç

OMG, Alan is finally seeing the light. Good for him, perhaps he can help turn around the liberal Jews in this country, though I won’t count on that being the case.

he can def help it get to something more like 60-40; or back to the 64-35 D-R it was in 1988 in the next 4-8 years. For the GOP to move towards a plurality/majority, prob another 12 or so years.

Damned. I have a sandstone conglomerate the size of her head with Paleocene wormtubes on it. It looks just like her.

Can we call her “Stone Head” or “Worm Head”?

And she teaches where and what? Why?

You have to been nuts to think that Dershowitz has become a good guy for complaining about the PC left criticizing Israel. Dershowitz has not changed at all.
