Feminazis on Twitter Erupt Over Pence Marriage
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | March 30, 2017 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 03/30/2017 1:44:42 PM PDT by Kaslin

RUSH: I mentioned just in passing right before the end of a segment that the Twitter storm erupted last night when it was learned the details of the marriage of Mike Pence and his wife, Karen. Leftists are appalled that Pence does not eat in public with women without his wife along. They’re outraged at this. You should have seen the Twitter storm. He does not attend events with alcohol without her at his side.

Now, let me ask a question. If some leftists had a very, very open marriage — well, let’s look at the Obamas. Do you know where Barack Hussein O is right now? He is on a deserted island in Tahiti for a month with 54 men. It’s the old Marlon Brando estate. Marlon Brando had an island. He was first interviewed from that island by Larry King Alive. And he’s been there like a month, he’s scheduled to be there a month. We haven’t heard a word about Michelle Obama, but there isn’t any Twitter storm over this.

What if a different leftist couple went public with the details of their open marriage about how each partner sleeps with other people but they trust each other and they have great times together and they raise their kids. It would be celebrated, it would be applauded, the left would think that it’s a great example of openness and trust and tolerance. But the liberals on Twitter were beside themselves last night when they found out that Pence will not eat in public with women without his wife along.

Well, let’s look at the opposite of that. Let’s say one night — pick your spot — let’s say at The Capital Grille. Let’s say one night Mike Pence is in there having dinner with another woman, not his wife, and somebody in the media sees it, maybe snaps a picture, do you think there might be stories intimating something not right there? Do you think somebody would take notice and think it was odd? Could very well be. Nor does he attend events with alcohol without her. She is his prayer partner. They’re really lambasting that. And he doesn’t go anywhere with alcohol without her.

It sounds to me like you got a couple of really good friends here who protect each other and who do everything they can to protect their marriage. You know, I was mentioning this the first time, and I checked my email, and I got few emails from women saying not cool for a guy to go to dinner, a married guy, with a different woman, just not cool. Right? Tongues would wag.

Anyway, I found it interesting that the left went nuts, particularly feminazis. The feminazis on Twitter portrayed this as Mrs. Pence being a totally, 100 percent subservient. I don’t know how you get that out of it, but they did.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I got a quick question for you. What is the easiest question in Washington to answer? (singing Jeopardy theme song) What is the easiest question in Washington to answer? Actually it’s true anywhere, but we’re focusing on Pence and his marriage and how he won’t go out to dinner with a woman without his wife present and all that. What’s the easiest question in Washington to answer?

The one that cannot be asked. Don’t roll your eyes. That’s a profundity. The easiest question to answer is the one that can’t be asked. “Mr. Pence, what were you doing with your legislative aide last night at dinner?” If you don’t go to dinner with her, they can’t ask the question. The easiest answer to a question is the one that can’t be asked. Just another way of saying keep it on the straight and narrow, and nobody can hound you. You know where I got that? White comedian Paul Shanklin, as one of the guiding principles of his life. Easier to answer the questions that cannot be asked. So when he goes out… (laughing)

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I was just looking at one of these tweets in reaction to the Washington Post story on Pence refusing to eat with another woman in public without his wife being present. Some MTV personality said that’s worse than Sharia. That is so backwards; that’s worse than what the Muslims do to women. That’s such an insult to women.

Ha.

Go figure.

I am convinced that one of the deepest resentments you will ever meet in life is the resentment that stunted misfits have for normal people.

And that explains the LGBTQerty community

“The opposite of a feminist: a happily married woman.”

Limbaugh put out a list of reasons for feminism. For me, the most significant is to turn women into things that cannot become good wives.

Yes, Paul did indeed, write that. I am reminded of another, woe unto them that call good evil, and evil good. They are in deep kimchi.

when I was working it was standard practice for a male admin to have witness whenever a female was interviewed, all male Doctors have a nurse present when examining a female.....wonder why the need for a “witness”??

Perhaps It would be a good idea for Rush Limbsugh to stay away from this subject.

BTW, how does Limbsugh know there are 54 men with Obama in Tahiti?

The only problem I see with it is if he had to meet 1 on 1 with a female politician or female intelligence official or a female head of state of another country. What if they have to discuss top secret information?

Would he have to bring his wife along? What if she doesn’t have security clearance? Would he just not meet with the female person to discuss classified/top secret matters?

This is similar to, but not exactly like, some Muslim men who refuse to shake a woman’s hand in a Western setting. The same premise behind it at least ... temptation. So it’s considered backward.

OK he doesn’t have to go out to dinner alone with a woman but he might have to meet behind closed doors with a woman for official business. Some very Christian men will not do that. That might be a problem in the situations I described above.

Does she go to dinner without him?

You have changed the parameters of the discussion. I'm sure that she goes to dinner without him and he goes to dinner without her.

The issue is going to dinner with a member of the opposite sex who might be perceived as a romantic interest and with no one else along, i.e. 'a date'. If I am at dinner without my wife and with another female only, I am not "living dangerously" if that 'other woman' happens to be my mother or one of my daughters.

A person of responsibility, whether a politician or merely a husband (or wife), needs to "avoid the appearance of evil". You know, like Bill Clinton's airport tarmac meeting with Loretta Lynch?

I don't think so at all. I worked mostly with male managers (as a woman manager), and many would not step into my office for a quick closed-door meeting. Why? Because of all the sexual harassment charges that are rampant in the workplace! That's especially true on government jobs, where if you make the accusation, you often get promoted out of the work area. As for meeting out in public, if anyone sees it they assume something else is going on. With Pence, I'm sure there are plenty of progressive women who wouldn't hesitate to make a accusation that would hang with him forever - easy to do from the left when it comes down to he-said-she-said.

I doubt it's that he doesn't trust her or wants her to be constantly under his supervision - quite the contrary, it's letting her be there to help prevent anyone from doing anything like that.

Probably many “feminists” have hatred for anyone who has a normal relationship. Most men avoid these idiots like the plague.

Many years ago, I had a job which required sometimes lengthy conversations in my office with young men and women. If any woman closed the door upon entering my office, my secretary immediately got up from her desk and opened the door. I didn’t fully appreciate what she did until many years later.

Yes, I agree there is always the possibility of people making false accusations about you to harm your reputation. But they could do that with male to male as well.

I know a female university professor who will not meet with any student, male or female, alone in her office or anywhere behind closed doors for just that reason. She will only meet with a student in a public place like the library.

But Pence appears to be saying that he won’t meet in public alone with a female. I wonder if he would meet with a female alone in private under the circumstances I outlined.

Leftists are appalled that Pence does not eat in public with women without his wife along.

Is that what he said, or does he just not eat alone with another woman? I can't imagine he never eats even with a group without his wife there.
