Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D.) wants the state's legislature to adopt a bill forbidding citizens from purchasing more than one gun per month.
McAuliffe submitted the proposal, which includes punishments of up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine, as an amendment to an unrelated, Republican-backed gun bill that would have prevented other states from obtaining information about concealed-handgun permit holders in Virginia.

F*** you, McAuliffe.
Does he also advocate a law forbidding citizens from stealing more than one gun a month?
If not, why not?
Don’t really care about the guns; they’re nothing but hunks of wood/plastic and iron. It’s the bullets that are important. You have the guns you want then get the bullets to feed them. I think that by now people there have all the guns they want now to stock up.
He is whistling past the graveyard. Not gonna happen.
BUMP! Assuming, from your FR name, that you live in VA, sorry you have to put up with this asshole.
Your nothing but a butt kissing Clinton loving POS!!! Always has been and always will be!!! And McCabe is not any better and doesn't belong in the DOJ under Comey who is another butt kissing Clinton loving POS!!!
Screw McAwful, Clinton’s Bag Man belongs in prison.
Just like the surrounding states, particularly Maryland. I don't get it, people just let the government run all over’em.
Sure, and the violent criminals will be sure to obey this law.
Leftists want to take guns from non-violent citizens while leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.
Not sure on what constitutional basis da gubmint kin FORCE ye ta buy one gun a month. Dey kin suggest it, dey kin recommend it, but dey cain’t force it. What if ye only wanna buy one gun every two months? Who pays for the other gun they are forcing you to buy???
I wish I could afford his one gun a month policy. A dozen a year would make a nice collection!
In Virginny, you waltz into a gun shop pick out a hand gun, have dealer punch in your data, hit enter and your approved for immediate purchase and take away. The computer system is that robust. And if you have no flags, you are good to go. Flags are not insurmountable either unless you flat out do not measure up.
So I don’t understand McAuliffe’s end game with this BS. The state assembly will, in all probability, shoot this down in flames. There is commerce involved here. McAuliffe wishes to impede business yet again, he’s been down this path before.
It’s a tax.
A tax is an attack.
He's a DemocRAT; it's what they do.
