That Was Then But This Is Now
1. LOCK HER UP.
Donald Trump Then:
After FBI Director James Comey in July recommended not charging Clinton, Trump cited it as evidence the election was rigged and said the FBI rolled over.
He pledged to appoint a special prosecutor, and even told Clinton during a debate that if he were president, youd be in jail.
Donald Trump Now:
But after he won the election, Trump said he wouldnt recommend prosecuting Clinton, saying she already suffered greatly and that its just not something I feel very strongly about.
Trump was speaking in Grand Rapids, Mich., as part of his thank you tour when he heard some chants of lock her up - a common refrain during his campaign events.
That plays great before the election - now we don't care, right? Trump responded, according to CNN.
2. DACA
Donald Trump Then:
Opposed DACA and DAPA and called Obama's executive orders on DACA and DAPA one of the most unconstitutional actions ever undertaken by a President.
We will immediately terminate President Obamas two illegal executive amnesties in which he defied federal law and the constitution to give amnesty to approximately 5 million illegal immigrants, Trump said at an August speech in Arizona, where immigration hard-liner Joe Arpaio introduced him.

Donald Trump Now:
They got brought here at a very young age, theyve worked here, theyve gone to school here. Some were good students. Some have wonderful jobs. And theyre in never-never land because they dont know whats going to happen, Trump said in an interview with Time.
In an interview that aired Wednesday, Trump said DACA participants shouldn't be "very worried."
They shouldnt be very worried, I do have a big heart. Were going to take care of everybody, were going to have a very strong border, were going to have a very solid border, Trump told ABC's David Muir. You have great people that are here that have done a good job, they should be far less worried.

3. AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
Donald Trump Then:
As he campaigned for the White House that he declared in an interview with CBS 60 Minutes: I am going to take care of everybody Everybodys going to be taken care of much better than theyre taken care of now. More recently, Trump has promised that repeal will end with a beautiful picture.

Donald Trump Now:
The White House said Monday that President Trump is absolutely serious about working with Democrats on health-care legislation and other priorities after conservative Republicans balked at a GOP plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.
We learned a lot through this process, said White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. If we can come up with resolution on a way to move forward, well certainly entertain that. I dont think weve seen the end of health care.
Mr. Trump criticized the conservative House Freedom Caucus for failing to support the administration-backed bill last week, saying they were allowing Obamacare to remain in place and permitting federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
Asked if working with Democrats would require a serious course correction by the administration, Mr. Spicer said, Sure.

ABSOLUTELY!
“Hillary and Bill and Huma ought to be kept busy looking for documents and meeting with their lawyers 24/7 until Trump gets some relief from the antics.”
ABSOLUTELY!
Gives them less time, less manpower, less gumption, and a greater desire to cry ‘Uncle! Let’s make a deal! Please, please!’
Even more importantly, what about Eric Holder?
That man’s not nearly as powerful as the Clinton Machine — at least not yet. But he’s waging open political warfare against Trump as Obama’s proxy. Probably wading in Soros money.
Now is not the right time to go after Hillary. Soon, even her most devoted pant-suited supporters will cry for her blood.
Post the money quote or don’t bother me with links.
Thank you.
be-baw would rather lash out with insults than google something?
Good grief.
Playing ‘ref-lite’ here — be-baw 0, RummyChick 150 — caught the golden snitch.
Trump himself did an AMA on r/The_Donald. If he or his staff was paying close enough attention to FR to be reading all the comments on the Trump-critical threads, we’d have heard about it.
It’s not like you to pile on, AW!M. You haven’t become a bully while I wasn’t paying attention, have you? ;)
I said I hear ya...Trump and his people don’t care about anyone on FR...too small of site, doesn’t matter, etc.
Just wondering why you are pushing so hard that Trumps people aren’t smart enough to see what the base is saying on FR.
Wow; what an incendiary post. He needs to really chill or he will hand the 2018 election to the Democrats after the courts have already stopped much of his early agenda.
Actually, weighing in on your point — I agree that Trump sometimes seems ‘plugged in’ to this forum, or at least he used to be.
Now it might be a little different thought: I know a FRiend who is in frequent contact with the White House via public online communications. This FRiend senses that he/she is actually helping influence Trump decisions.
And then there’s Bannon/Breitbart. Good grief, if that doens’t plug Trump in with conservatives online, what does?
But Bannon is probably not savvy regarding law, and that’s what the GOPe understands best. So I hope that Bannon would get in touch with House Rep Gomert. They would make a powerful team.
Don’t put words in my mouth. I said that Trump’s people understand how beneficial it is to encourage and acknowledge the conservative sites they frequent. If they are reading even the comments sections of FR minutely/regularly, why would they make no mention of it/keep it a secret?
(I would be thrilled and delighted, btw, if even *one* of Trump’s close advisors had ever mentioned this site. I’d just appreciate being able to see that mention/citation, is all.)
“Trump’s morale compass is the amount of applause he receives.”
Puleeze. This is a line straight out of a CNN fake news panel.
Are you talking about LS?
Stop trying to push that no one from Trumps team reads this site..because that is what you are doing in your posts...

Flash ... !
Breaking ... !
Major rift between Trump and the Freedom Caucus!
I caught confirming headlines in Google, but Truth29 posted actual tweet:
“Speaking of Freedom Caucus, this just tweeted by Trump: The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they dont get on the team, & fast. We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018!” — Truth29
For those who don’t know, the Freedom Caucus is very tight with Sean Hannity to give you an idea of how conservative they are. Gomert, for example, is the conservative Anti-Ryan.
This is very disappointing to me.

“The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they don’t get on the team, & fast. We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018!” - Donald Trump
Yeah, and you sure don’t want to stand on principle.
Good on you NB!
‘Stop trying to push that no one from Trumps team reads this site..because that is what you are doing in your posts...’
Stop lying about me. I asked if there was any evidence. Stop pretending it’s a crime to inquire about facts.
I know that LS has WH contacts. What I’m unaware of is whether any close advisors to Trump are poring over the comments section of Trump-critical threads.
This is beyond disappointing !
I wonder who advised this,..and why ?
I get it. You don’t think anyone on Trump’s team reads FR
You don’t have to keep saying it.
