Full title........................Christian student is suspended for 'threatening' his Muslim professor after he 'confronted her for saying the Crucifixion was a hoax and Jesus' disciples didn't believe he was God'.......................... Marshall Polston, 20, was suspended from Rollins College on March 24, after his Middle Eastern humanities professor filed a police report about him Professor Areej Zufari filed the report last Friday, claiming Polston violated a school order by staring into her classroom In the report she said she has been fearing for her safety due to Polston's repeated outbursts in class and negative reaction to poor grades But Polston says he's being punished for simply disagreeing with the professor as a Christian He claims that she called Jesus' crucifixion a hoax and refused to report a Muslim student who said gays should be decapitated

The insanity and arrogance of some professors makes me think his account plausible....but then he might be a jerk who really threatened her, either way I want to see hard evidence before I choose a side.
Another thread with more info on this one...

Try the liberal approach.
If one does not like the “professor”, simply refuse to take a course from him/her/it/etc.
If enough smart folks (e.g., conservatives) do this, we could eliminate a good many of the vermin currently pretending to be academics.
It may be a required course and he may be the only one teaching it.
When a muzzie acts up in class the muzzie is always right, and the normal person is always wrong, so F*** it! I’m on the side of the student in this one.
Interesting legal experiment.
IF, as the student asserts, the prof suspended him for disagreeing with her claims. He should make the same claim against the Koran, i.e. that nothing within its pages can be true.
Should that be considered ‘hate speech’ (done in several localities) then he has a case that the State has, defacto established a religion.
Since he could show that to criticize Christianity (and Judaism, Hinduism, etc. as has been done elsewhere) is acceptable but not for Islam, the State has deemed Islam the only acceptable religion and therefore is in violation of the Establishment Clause.
This article is very telling. It includes a Facebook note the professor wrote to the ACLU of Florida asking for help. In it she specifically mentioned “another students”, and then continues with “this one” which tells me she has had problems with other students. How many other times has she contacted the ACLU? Did she write the ACLU on March 13th, before she even contacted Rollins administrators? Sounds like she’s got an agenda, especially when she didn’t do anything to a muzzie student who said gays, adulterers, and thieves should have body parts removed according to Sharia Law.
What only an idiot would believe (when not under militant threats or strong social pressure) is that he was a true prophet. The evidence that he was just an unbalanced narcissistic psychopath is overwhelming.
Good point, I missed this implication. This makes me suspect the student is on the right side of this.
If I understand this issue correctly, it is not a 14th Amendment issue imo.
More specifically, patriots are reminded that Supreme Court had clarified in United States v. Cruikshank that enumerated constitutional rights protect citizens only from actions of state and federal governments, not private entities.
And since this issue concerns a private school, the school has as much right to reasonably disagree with a student over religious issues as Christian-owned businesses have the right to diplomatically refuse service to LGBT people (ahem).
Corrections, insights welcome.
From what I heard lately there is video showing the professor is lying about him “assaulting” her- in fact she was the aggressor
She should be summarily fired if that is true
Well obviously he did not write it, he was illiterate. The Koran was a collection of what he taught and claimed were revelations from God, and the Hadith were narrated by various sources about his life, but by all accounts the man could not read or write himself. Certainly he was an historical figure, which is sad, because he was a very blood thirsty awful person who founded a blood cult that has caused pain, death, and suffering for 14 centuries.
This is another example of Obama’s legacy...........

And, as a ‘public accommodation’, like the college, how well did that work out for the baker(s) that refused to do biz w/ the gays (IIRC, $$$ in ‘fines’)??
The Socialists LOVE to have it both ways, since the Right usually bends over meekly to comply and has the ‘damn’est’ time arguing\debating vs. Constitution.
He’s getting off easy. In a few decades, after the muslims overwhelm the native population, profession of faith in the resurrection will result in summary executions.
I don’t think you watched the video. The speaker provides evidence that mo not only didn’t write the koran but it’s not even based on his “teachings”.
