Two former cronies of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie were sentenced to prison Wednesday for the politically motivated closure of traffic lanes leading to the George Washington Bridge that has come to be known as Bridgegate.
Former Port Authority exec Bill Baroni was sentenced to two years in prison and ex-Christie aide Bridget Anne Kelly to 18 months behind bars by a federal judge in Newark.

"...Christie aides get prison..."
So let's get this straight...some people are allegedly involved in what could be a politically-motivated automobile traffic jam and go to prison...yet a former Secretary of State lies, an American embassy is attacked, innocents DIE, and that receives no punishment? OK.

2 years in prison for moving to orange cones to reduce lanes on a bridge?
WTH?
Is there more to the story than orange cones?

Impersonating an officer, resisting arrest, fraud, reckless driving, and lying to the sheriff!

Reading the story, it sounds like they got them on perjury. Apparently she claimed she thought the closures were part of a legitimate traffic study and it says the jury didn’t believe her.

There was no perjury charge. It was something involving conspiracy and impeding interstate commerce. There’s a good chance the convictions will be tossed on appeal.

I consider Obama shutting down the entrance to the WWII Veterans Memorial a much more serious event.

Blocking freeways? Oh, that is totally allowed.
One apparently only gets in trouble if they forget to include an undercurrent of anti-white violence and carjacking.
