Hey, lefties with guns, that's cool.
At least, that was my first impression upon seeing about 40 or so assorted anarchists, Brown Berets, and members of a group calling itself the Phoenix John Brown Gun Club across the street from the state Capitol, openly armed to the proverbial teeth.

The one at the right looks to me like a paintball gun. Or at least a pellet gun. Never saw a drum mag that small.
Were those real rifles or air-soft toys? Some of them didn’t look real to me. They looked too plastic and didn’t look like they had any weight to them.
They are real,really.
It’s supposed to be an SKS
They carry in public to assert and prove their (and our) second amendment rights.
Except for one I know, the rest are all very non-violent. I think that one is probably just a mouthy blowhard, who probably wouldn't do anything violent if it came down to it.
I wouldn't call them the "left".
The left believes in big government.
The Republican establishment has become a light version of the left.
Conservatives believe in limited government.
Anarchists, the opposite of the left, believe in NO government.
Most of them believe in non violence.
Those I have met all carry a copy of the US constitution, and believe in it and support it as much as, if not more than we do.
When I bring up the fact I think we need some government, such as taxpayer paid highway departments, they call me a "statist", and say such things should be taken care of be "volunteerism", with people volunteering to keep infrastructure up and build it.
While I may not agree with everything they believe, we need them to balance off the left.
The Twinkie Eaters. Gosh, they are heavy toughies.
The Twinkie Eaters. Gosh, they are heavy toughies.
“The Twinkie Eaters. Gosh, they are heavy toughies.”
Just remember. Poodles can look like foo-foo dogs, but a larger one still has a good bite.
Even a poor shot can do a lot of damage before s/he is stopped.
Armed and alert. A couple of extra trips to the range wouldn’t hurt, either.
I thought the same after looking, but the resolution is pretty crappy zoomed.
“These clowns don’t have a clue what they are doing.”
Some don’t, I’m sure, but it’s all for the sake of intimidation. It’s for show. A bunch of Lefties with black guns, semi-automatic rifles, blah, blah, blah. They don’t realize that people can pick apart what they have and rate their ability based upon their purchasing choices, lack of proper modifications, etc.
It’s all for show. And it will intimidate some. Most people take it for what it is: a threat, a sign of worse to come. These people might be twits in some ways, but even some twits can pull off a massacre against unarmed, unaware, unprepared people.
What I want to know is are these people on the radar of the FBI, DHS, and ATF? After all we know the Obama administration was sounding the warning about right wingers and veterans with guns (as if we were a threat to our own beloved country). What about these guys? They hate America.
That is one of my biggest fears as well, an untrained Libtard with a firearm.
yep they are ALL fake
This is why every household should have a premium barrel semi automatic long gun in 300 blackout, loaded subsonic, well scoped, and suppressed. It is the long distance anti personnel tool of the moment.
Looks like a magpul d60
I'm sure in Arizona they're just as capable of buying real guns as the rest of us are. Believe it or not, lots of gun nuts posting over at DU.
Prolly TX. Some of the LEOs in Texas are behind the power curve about gun rights.
Depends on how you define long distance. In the West over 400 yards is long distance. 300bo subsonic at that range is not very effective.
You need to get out more. Pricey, but available:
The MagPul D-60 60-round drum is available for around $100-!35, and offers double the capacity of the standard military 30-round magazine.
But that does not eliminate the possibility that one of the creeps stuck a real magazine into an airsoft gun. We use metal GI magazines in the pair of $20 airsoft rifles carried by our AMVETS post honor guard.
The problem is not limited either to those with their point of view, nor just to our civilian society.
