Imagine if the Trump Administration were to make its own de facto "law" in deciding which mandatory federal government functions it doesn't have to perform.
For instance, if there were an imminent jihadist attack on sanctuary state California, could the Trump Administration take a cue from the Obama Administration, and summarily decide that it just doesn't have to inform California public safety officials.
Or if the Oroville Dam were to go over the top, could Trump decide, a la Obama, "those Californians didn't vote for me" (as Obama might have decided, "those descendants of colonialists deserve to be punished for their ancestors' sins", the 44th Administration's main theme dubbed "Get Even With Them Ism"), so they get no FEMA aid?
These conflicts were decided upon long ago by the likes of Soros, to break down local cultural loyalty, to make the once-strong populations of the industrial world more compliant and easier to govern.
Trump’s not black and “gifted”
The good guys always have it harder than the bad guys.
The guy who mpeticulously builds a dream home has it much harder rhan the guybwho can destroy it with a single match.
The bad guys are lawless and believe the ends justify the means. The good guys know that if they stoop to the level of the bad guys, they are no better themselves.
Good has always had an uphill climb against the forces of evil that can call upon any despicable methods necessary. Despite this, good triumphs due to a inherent superiority that evil cannot match.
Trump wants to be the Law and Order president, which he said dozens of times during his campaign. He canot do that by being a lawless president.
All the above presumes a normal political climate. Now, if he is in a street fight of the DemocRATS making, then all bets are off. I dont think we are quite there yet but it is coming.
Absolutely no need. Enforcement of existing law is the key. Undoing lawless precedent would be the ultimate win.
He could rescind Obama’s illegal DACA program that is still operating as if it were law and not something that Obama dreamed up.
At some point it will be Trump’s illegal DACA program.
You want an executive branch with no balance from the other two branches?
Let’s start with this really old piece of paper and go over it again.
“we the people of the United States,...”
I support Trump using Executive Orders to undo the treacherous E. O.s of Obama. I do not support him using it to create law. If something is important, submit a bill and get it passed.
Sadly, this holds true for Obamacare. It was passed by Congress and the _resident signed it.
I don’t not want to become them, to beat them.
I do no want to defy the Constitution to defeat those who defy it.
If Obama had his own US Treasury checkbook which he used to gift pet causes, then it goes with this office.
For example, he gave the UN 100 million to fight that dreadful global warming.
We can pay for a lot of footings with 100 million. No. Make it two hundred million. Or three. Just to get started. Then we start dunning Mexico and garnishing money sent home by its resident citizens,
Most people buy a car or house by signing a note. The feebs own the printing presses.
Can’t afford to repel an invasion? Give me a break. You critters are out of excuses.
BLOAT
(It’s not the cost. It’s that they know it will work.)
Since the 14th Amendment was loosely attributed to confirm the children of illegal alien children born in the U. S. were citizens, DACA was pointless.
You can’t remove a citizen.
This mute point, seems to be a big bone of contention for some folks.
Citizen children of illegal immigrants have not been deported in the past, unless the parents who were deported took them with them by choice.
This is not Trump’s fault.
The 14th Amendment needs to be clarified. I don’t think it confers citizenship on these children. That needs to be confirmed. Then deport away.
I seem to remember MULTIPLE times that Obama diverted money allocated for one thing to a completely different thing.
Trump should do the same thing with the wall.
Take money allocated for global warming, trans bathrooms, bullet trains to nowhere, ect... and divert it to use to build the wall.
You misunderstand what DACA is.
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
These are illegal alien children born in their home countries to their illegal alien parents and brought here as children.
Some of these “children” being given work permits are 30 years old.
BTW, I agree with you that the 14th was never intended to be applied to children of illegal aliens and Congress needs to clarify that.
Okay, I apologize.
This is a term I haven’t follow closely, and when looking it up a few minutes ago before posting, I was under the impression it addressed children born here.
Yes, if this does address those born in other nations, it must go and the sooner the better.
Thanks. I appreciate the follow-up mention.
PS, the action being deferred is their deportation.
Yes, I agree.
Obama Admin created many regulations, some lawful, some unlawful. Most achieve no public purpose except to let the rest of us know we should ask how high when the bureaucrat says jump.
The Obama Admin selectively granted waivers to political favorites for many of those regulations. So they were selectively enforced contrary to the 14th Amendment.
Trump, Price, Verma, Perry, Pruitt, etal should grant everybody a 1 year waiver renewable for 99 years at the end of 1 year unless someone can convince Congress it needs to be made mandatory.
One area where Obama admin made a lot of regulations was IT. The bureaucrats made the mistake of confusing two separate things. It has long been the role of the US Government to define standards, the length of a foot and the length of a meter. In IT Obama Admin defines IT standard. But it goes beyond defining the standards and proscribes what MUST be used. It is like telling a carpenter he must use metric when he would do better using English-American measures with which he is more familiar.
One major problem with IT is that technology moves quickly. Bureaucracy moves slowly. Many Obama IT mandates are built on 1990s concepts that are now irrelevant.
The Trump Admin should make these all voluntary, optional, give everyone waivers.
It seems to me that he could easily dismantle or disable ObamaCare by directing his secretaries to unwind what Obama’s secretaries had free reign to do.
DACA illegals and children of illegals dropped on US clay are two different categories.
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is an American immigration policy started (illegally) by the Obama administration in June 2012 that allowed certain illegal aliens to the United States who entered the country as minors to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action.
I agree that the 14th shouldn’t be used to give citizenship to the children of illegal aliens: `cowbirds’ who laid eggs in our nest. But that’s something that remains to be addressed. (What kind of parents would leave their minor children behind? Unfit parents. A lot of the minors will go home too.)
In any event, 14th babies are legal, for now. DACA `minors’ are illegal aliens. DACA was and remains unsupported by federal law. Obama knew it but did it anyway. They have to go and ASAP.
But for now Trump is concentrating on the worst of the worst: killers, rapists, etc.: felons—although they are all lawbreakers.
Trump and his people are trying to deal with 25 years of executive malfeasance and constant `rat and MSM obstruction.
As he has stated, first, apprehend the really bad hombres; then start the wall and other security measures; then locate and remove the rest, including the DACAs while garnishing their wages, fining employers, and so forth and so on.
Black Jesus had the MSM covering him as a slobbering love affair.
Trump’s only cover is the American voter.
