(CNN)Key House Democrats are calling on Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes to recuse himself from an investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, widening a stunning partisan split over the probe. "The Chair of the House Intelligence has a serious responsibility to the Congress and to the country," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement to CNN Monday evening. "Chairman Nunes' discredited behavior has tarnished that office. (House) Speaker (Paul) Ryan must insist that Chairman Nunes at least recuse himself from the Trump-Russia investigation immediately. That leadership is long overdue." Her request came a little more than an hour after Rep. Adam Schiff, the committee's top Democrat, requested Nunes' recusal.

Nunes looked at intercepts of Trump’s team, having nothing to do with Russia, and told Trump.
Of course he should tell Trump, and Sessions too.
This is evidence of an apparent crime, and it should be reported to the Trump Administration for investigation and prosecution.
So the gaslighting position of the MSM/Dems appears to be, if a Congressman comes across evidence of a crime, he should NOT tell the executive branch so it can be investigated and prosecuted?

I happened to have NBC national news on at 7 a.m. this morning CDT, and their lead story was about calls for Nunes to resign from the committee.
Oh I see the what is happening here - they need to keep the false narrative about Russia going and if anyone veers close to the truth they must immediately be dealt with as liars.
