Inundated with boos from a raucous town hall crowd, Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) snapped back, lashing out at one attendee for asking a “garbage” question and slamming many for not accepting the result of the 2016 presidential election.
Toward the end of the hour-long town hall in Columbia, S.C., people were standing up.
“Your last term! Your last term!” they chanted.
The senator fired back, telling the crowd that he does not and will not worry about losing his job in the 2020 election.
“Good! Good! Come on, bring it on! Bring it on!” Graham said. “If I win, fine. If I don’t, fine. But here’s what you’re going to get from me. You’re going to get somebody that tells you exactly what I believe. And to everybody in this room, it’s okay to be mad. It’s okay to be upset.”
Republicans who have hosted town halls have endured “protests, sharp rebukes and emotional questions about what they see as a sharp turn in governance as well as the House and Senate’s willingness to check the White House,” The Washington Post’s Dan Zak and Terence Samuel wrote last month.
Some GOP lawmakers have opted against holding town halls. President Trump has dismissed the “so-called angry crowds” as “liberal activists.”

I was in attendance at this Town Hall. The people who spoke up the most were paid leftist agitators. I don’t like Lindsey anymore than anyone else, but he fought back against the libs and I am fine with that. The simply fact is that it is the libs that have kept him in office. They can cross over in the primaries and have helped him keep his job. Next election could be entertaining.

And Linda will continue to be until the South Carolina REPUBLICAN PARTY puts an end to open primaries. They won’t because they want liberals as candidates. Eliminate the open primary and Linda doesn’t break 10% in votes.

Tailback, you're right. We have open primaries here in SC, unfortunately. That's about 75% of how linda gets reelected.

Sounds like most of the protestors were Soros backed astroturfers. I’m sure there was a contingent of conservatives, too, letting Grahamnesty know how they feel about his pathetic record.
