JAPANESE POLITICIANS WANT THE ABILITY TO BOMB NORTH KOREA FIRST BEFORE BEING 'DESTROYED'

BY TOM O'CONNOR ON 3/27/17 AT 1:58 PM

Top Japanese lawmakers have begun arguing for the capability to launch a preemptive missile strike on North Korea in the face of Pyongyang's increasingly active ballistic and nuclear weapons programs.

In response to militant rhetoric from North Korea, a group of influential Japanese legislators has announced a public campaign to end the World War II-era restrictions, imposed on Tokyo by the U.S., that prevent Japan from initiating military action. The post-war scheme tasked the U.S. with defending Japan from foreign attack but Japanese politicians including ruling Liberal Democratic Party head Hiroshi Imazu and former defense chief Gen Nakatani have said that Japan deserves the right to defend its own interests and should acquire the means to do so.

“Japan can’t just wait until it’s destroyed,” Imazu told The Washington Post Monday. “It’s legally possible for Japan to strike an enemy base that’s launching a missile at us, but we don’t have the equipment or the capability.”

“I believe that we should consider having the capacity to strike,” Nakatani told The Washington Post.

"The only way is to keep them in the North and how do you do that with a population that’s hostile to outsiders even if for their own good?"

Well SoKo enforces the DMZ. It's a 'hot' zone, it's a no-go, whatever.

China's border, not so rucky...

Actually, it's not that hard at all. With this three step program, you can get a nation to believe anything:

1. Ruthlessly eliminate any form of information coming from outside the country and monopolize all domestic information sources.

2. Endlessly repeat the idea you want ingrained in people. In this case, "Dear leader is a God".

3. Arrest and imprison or liquidate everyone who does not go with the program.

For more information on this technique you can review the regimes of Mao, Stalin, and Hitler and the works of Orwell, and Goebbels. It works every time.

If we’re being honest, the Japanese are why the rest of the region is justifiably paranoid.

What the Japanese have to do is build up their Anti-Missile defenses. There is No need to go on the offense. They have the technology and the capability. So there is no need to show those North Korean nuts that they are feared.

They should’nt be afraid.

They’d go from looking at reactor blueprints to testing within a year, then a Hello Kitty model a year after that.

“I believe that we should consider having the capacity to strike,”............

The Japanese tried that once before and look how that turned out. There is a reason they have been handcuffed for so long, what makes the japanese think No. Korea will just sit back and wait for them to arrive?

China helped Pakistan get nukes, and they run interference for North Korea.

When China helped Pakistan get nukes, we should have given Taiwan about 200 nuclear warheads and a ballistic missile sub to retaliate for Pakistan.

/// how to stop the ten thousand artillery pieces aimed at Seoul ///

Airburst hydrogen bombs, in the megaton range. Maybe 50.

Not sure what it would do to all the Nork artillery in tunnels behind blast doors. But that would take care of Seoul - there wouldn’t be much left to defend.

I have been watching Korean TV on Netflix. In one episode, a conference was held in a Seoul hotel and there were guards present from military forces of both North and South Korea.

Mention was made of skin color. The North Korean guard was perhaps two shades darker than the South Korean guard.

Is there a real ethnic difference between the populations?

Japan and Korea have had a very, very long feud going back to the very origins of both countries.
(This is before Perry sailed to Japan.)

Now, for the first time, the Japanese are speaking, not as a nation being strangled of raw materials, but as a nation faced with a very certain danger in front of them, and not far from their backyard.

This is a democratic government’s open response to a neighboring tin-horn dictator with nuclear toys, and a brattish attitude enough to use them.

This is an issue that could legally transcend any WW2 treaty arrangement.

You don’t airburst the artillery silly. You airburst Pyongyang and all their bases. Decapitation strike.

THEN you use neutron bombs when they roll out the artillery.

While accepting that Japan needs the ability to defend itself against threats,
Remember how unhuman the Japaneese were in war.

In the past, Japan defeated and enslaved and tortured Koreans.
The Japaneese did the same to much of China.
Is it any wonder the Koreans and Chineese HATE the Japaneese?
And do not believe crap news saying differently.

That would make more sense, although the folks in Tokyo won’t be happy when prevailing winds carry your airburst east. I’d love to have Trump make us some neutron bombs, but presently we have none. Maybe the Chicoms, to whom Clinton gave the plans, will loan us some?

I was told back in the early 70’s, was that all it would take for Japan to go nuclear was a screwdriver.
( meaning the components were in place but not assembled )

It could be a whole new ball game. It is now up to China to get its act together and place stiff headlock around N. Korea's neck. However, I am not so optimistic. Communist regime tend to have inertia which is nearly impossible to break even when their long-standing dogma poses an imminent danger. I suspect that, when they finally change their mind, it would be too late to make any difference.

They will end up triggering a strategic earthquake in E. Asia.
