Don’t take this the wrong way because I actually like Congressman Louis Gohmert a lot. However, this sketchy all-over-the-map interview is at an almost Tippy Guam level of bizzarro. The sum total of this interview would be exhibit “A” in the sketchy trial of “methinks he doth protest too much”, the Broadway musical.
Um, Louie.. dude. Rather than shout: “he lie”, “he lie”, “heeee lieeeee”; I’m left wondering if your hands or fingers are broken. Why didn’t Louis Gohmert, a sitting member of congress, just walk over to the Senate and ask the Parliamentarian herself – if he had a question. Weird.

Sundance generally does great work but he should have known better than to go all in on Ryan on this thing.
Ryan thinks he is bigger than Trump and that his future is not tied to Trump’s success.
I would bet that from the view of Ryan and his backers, Trump is a passing fad and they are counting on Globalism to prevail in the long run.
Ryan is not going to compromise his backers in order to help Trump succeed.

Gomert has been silent as a mouse ever since Croooze was handed his head.
It’s noticeable. He was out front on conservative interests his entire career and could fairly regularly find a camera to demonstrate how out front he could be.
Gomert was smart enough to not be a NeverTrumper in public, but on the other hand, he has not lifted a finger to lend a syllable of support for Trump the man, but for only an issue in general, maybe a time or two.
I’ve found it plenty curious. Evidently Sundance has noticed, as well.
Gohmert has been a bulldog on Benghazi, IRS scandal and every Constitutional thing you can shovel at him. Watch him on a few congressional events. I don’t understand how anyone on this board couldn’t love Louie. Courage under political fire.

Add to that Gohmert pointing out Lyin' Ryan's lie about the Senate Parliamentarian. And he gets trashed for that.

Go, Louie. You did the right thing.
This bill wasn’t great but it was a lot better than Obamacare, and it would be a start.
With Trump owning it, there is no doubt he would have made sure that all the issues are fixed to bring down costs. Now we have Obamacare for the foreseeable future. It’s mind boggling that we couldn’t get it done.
They still have time to get something better done. We'll see what happens over the next couple of weeks as to whether they continue to work at it.
