In other words he’s not going down with the USS Paul Ryan.
I don’t see why they can’t take up this very important issue at a later date.
There are only a few conservatives in Congress. The rest are hucksters, thieves, whoremongers and prostitutes. That's why they're not serious about replacing Obamacare. They've had years and years to work out a bill. The "purists" know that a complete repeal without any sort of replacement won't pass the House much less the Senate, so they play the holier than thou card hoping to make things fail so that they can please their corporate donors and their zombie supporters.
And yet they didn’t have the House.
And yet they didnt have the House.
Nice to see you remember Olympia Snowe’s retirement, may she burn in Hell!
RINObamaCare.
Thanks, Ryan.
Nice to see you remember Olympia Snowes retirement, may she burn in Hell!
My screw up!
How hard is this?
Repeal.
Period.
No “replace.”
Simply repeal.
And done.
Then open up the free market ...
I don’t think so. He knows this bill is no way a repeal. I think he would like to see it fail. He has said it would be best to let Ocare collapse of its own weight so the Democrats can’t claim that leaving ocare in place would have brought perfection.
He surely doesn’t need to have the trump brand on whatever jury rigged set of tweaks Congress passes. By continuing the whole idea of obamacare and just renaming it and tweaking it a bit it must fail. By passing the thing, the Democrats no longer get blamed for the failure. The Republicans do and Trump does.
Because Obamacare is still Obamacare, the GOP had nothing to do with it.
And Trump Vetos that bill
He said that would be best for him politically, but that it would be the wrong thing to do for the country.
No one was more clear than DJT that the answer was repeal and replace - on the same day.
“The problem is that Trump simply wants a deal, any deal. Looks like we have a choice between Obamacare and Obamacare Lite. So much for promises, as usual.”
Get the bill to the Senate. Ted will fix it.
Let the market do its job
-group insurance-let small companies/trade groups like farmers-truckers-...do same things as big companies do for their workers
-make it portable
-Sell across state lines
-Tort reform
-Require every company to take equal percent of high risk people if they want to sell at all (many states require auto insurers to do this)
-make pricing deals with pharmaceutical companies
-get government out of hospital..dr office...pricing let companies compete for your cat scan, surgery,...that causes prices to go up
......
Not if Mitch McConnell can do anything about it.
The problem is this - once you give people bennies (pre-existing condition, kids covered until 26,free birth control, etc) you have hell to pay when you try taking it away. The Rats knew what they were doing.
Market based health insurance is dead. It died when Reagan signed the bill forcing hospital ERs to take anyone that walks in regardless of their ability to pay.
“Not if Mitch McConnell can do anything about it.”
I have a feeling Mitch and Elaine will listen or else we are screwed.
The Freedom Caucus and the “moderates” can jump up and down and stomp their feet until January 2019 when Nancy and Chuck take over and begin impeachment.
There goes your tax reform, wall, Freerepublic forever.
We hang together or we hang separately.
Mitch is more than willing to have us hang separately; he’s establishment and the establishment of both parties will never cede federal power to individuals or to the states.
Who is going to blame the democrats exactly? The MSM will say the democrats begged the President to just fix Obamacare and he refused. The republicans in congress thought they could replace it but they had no idea what they were doing.
Try that story 24/7 for a few months the country will believe that the Republicans actually want to kill people.
