A holdover from the Obama administration who helped broker the Iran nuclear deal continues to work in the Trump State Department as a member of the policy planning staff, according to her biography on the agency website.
Prior to joining the Policy Planning Staff, she served as a Director for Iran and Iran Nuclear Implementation on the National Security Council Staff from 2014-2016, Sahar Nowrouzzadehs bio states. Sahar also previously served as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State and a Team Chief and Senior Analyst at the Department of Defense.
In an October 2016, Nowrouzzadeh was interviewed by the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA), which introduced her by stating that she was part of resident Obamas team responsible for supporting the P5+1 nuclear negotiations with Iran, which ultimately resulted in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
She just recently returned to the U.S. Department of State and is serving on the Secretary of States Policy Planning Staff and is responsible for the Iran portfolio, the introduction states.

In March 2015, Breitbart News reported that Nowrouzzadeh had previously written several publications on behalf of the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC).

send any such persons to Guantanamo!~!!
they are traitors (or at least they agreed to do the work of traitors) and they do NOT belong in our government!!
Trump needs a new Cabinet office, “Director of the Tip Line”, ASAP.
The person handling tips will pay for their own position in about five minutes.
I know that the president has a LOT on his plate, but he is way behind firing the holdover ENEMIES OF THIS NATION, still in place. If he doesn’t start firing vast numbers of people soon ....he will be a FAILED president by year’s end.
One of the easiest parts of a president’s job, for which Trump is preeminently qualified, is firing people. Why he hasn’t gone on a firing spree yet is mystifying.
How delightful....
Seems this would be their job, cleaning up the mess Obama left behind.
Lady looks like a dude.
Drain the swamp
Fire them...arrest them...waterboard them...exile them.
There are more than 500 positions requiring Senate confirmation for which Trump hasn't even named a nominee yet. Someone on his team has dropped the ball big time.
But yes, he is in charge of State and needs to start the firings!
I agree.....BIG LEAGUE!
Mr. President Send this guy packing..
WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL IN PLACE, what the hell is going on, kick them the F out!
She is a career civil servant, not a political appointee.
I am astounded at the lack of “You’re fired” after “swamp drain” pledge. If we the Freepers can point out the Obama leftover scum and disloyal, treasonous bureaucrats, why can’t President Trump and his advisors? This administration is veering to one term status in a hurry. WTH does this administration play into the hands of the Obama/DNC/RNC playbook? It is beyond due to get Machiavellian-Trump of old. Where has the Mojo gone? Obama had his feet on the desk, vacationed and played golf and still achieved destroying our country without breaking a sweat. To undue the stain of Obama cannot be that difficult for a man of President Trump’s prowess. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain for those who voted for him.
I stupidly gave him more credit, than I should have, in doing what was of PRIME IMPORTANCE ( getting rid of ALL of these people ASAP ), even IF he had no replacements handy. And just WHY wasn't he and his team working on finding those replacements, since last November?
Free Republicans here really miss it on Iran. It is a country with many people that love Americans and you are very fortunate if a Persian family moves into your neighbourhood.
