Adding to the uproar over Rep. Devin Nunes disclosure that the communications of President Trump and his transition team may have been intercepted by American intelligence or law enforcement agents, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Thursday described Nunes actions as very disturbing.
Nunes, the California Republican who heads the House intelligence committee, called a press conference Wednesday to announce that he had informed the White House that Trump transition communications may have been subject to incidental collection in the course of surveillance of other targets, possibly foreign. Nunes faced severe criticism from both sides of the aisle for making the information available to the press and the White House before briefing other members of his own committee, which is currently investigating suspicions of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Speaking on NBCs Today Thursday, McCain said Nunes action was unprecedented.
I have not seen anything like it, and its very disturbing.

“Hey John, you forgot to say that Nunes must be working with the Russians.”
The speculative charge will be leveled before the Sunday talk shows conclude.
So why does he believe it is disturbing? Is it because he is lying? Is it because he is reporting illegal wrongdoing against Trump?
I find it even more disturbing that McCain flew to Europe as Clinton’s errand boy to pick up a propaganda dossier
This is the ONLY way that McCain can get his ego stroked by the media. Criticizing Republicans is his “mavericky” schtick. He is a one-trick pony, and he will do this until he dies. It’s who he is. He needs to feed his ego. Sick, pathetic old coot!
McCain has so many dirty deeds under his belt in Ukraine, Syria, Libya, Turkey, etc... he’s in deep doodoo if Trump manages to make the DOJ go honest again. I totally understand his fear of Trump surviving the establishment’s attempts to bring him down.
McCain’s actions have been more than disturbing for quite some time. His judgement as well.
I find John McLame acting like a Senator “very disturbing” and acting like a Republican “extremely disturbing”.
They must have something really good on him. I sure wish we knew what it was.
Any Republican who did not go to the WH with the information is a treasonous phony only interested in the uniparty agenda which includes marginalizing President Trump.
The American people deserve to hear the truth. We are tired of the congress and other agencies keeping secrets from us while the Russians and every other intelligence service knows the truth. Nunez did the right thing. He opened the window and let some light in. High time.
At least I can say that Nunes isn’t a traitor, Juan!
That was my rationale for voting for McCain in 2008.
That Sarah would outlive him and be the President when the melanoma kicked in.
Damn SOB proved me wrong.
One thing McCain doesn’t want to see floating around out there is THE TRUTH. I find it “disturbing” that the treasonous McCain has joined with the communists in their attempt to overthrow the government.
Shut Up McLame
Someone ought to look into McCain’s ties to Russian oligarch and Putin crony Oleg Deripaska whose mining interests may include uranium. I thin McCain once went for a little sail out on Deripaska’s yacht.

"....very disturbing....."?
He might as well be a liberal and said he was "triggered". Micro aggressed.
What I find "very disturbing" is that this guy is still in office blathering this stuff against his own party.
I can see why his fellow POWs didn't like this man. His only friend is his girlfriend, Linda Graham.
That would be Lindsey.
Juan, take your meds and go quietly away.
