I said no such thing, but nice deflection, or at least attmpt to do so..

What I said, because I remember the conversation, is that I see no reason in viewing Putin as an adversary until he provides a good reason to. That he is their duly elected President under his countries rules and he should receive that kind of respect. As Reagan said trust but verify. I certainly would rather have a working relationship with Russia than one that is antagonistic. That is quite different than saying I am all in for Putin.

I see nothing different than our relationship to China, who I see as a far bigger threat than Russia. Does not mean I think we can ignore Russia, but I see absolutely no benefit with having a bellicose attitude towards them. Especially when it comes to this trumped up charge of Russian involvement in our election. Offered without a shred of proof I might add, and if they did that their attempt was effective at all. We, the United States, have done far worse acts to affect the outcome of elections in foreign countries.

So now tell us where the fake news is, because I honestly do not see it.
