SAN PABLO (KPIX 5) An East Bay tattoo removal clinic says theyve treated a record number of clients since the election.
Some in the Latino community worry ICE agents will use their tattoos as an excuse to stop them and check immigration status.
The number of customers has doubled. Typically, people go in to remove an ex-lovers name or get rid of tattoos for job interviews.
But the fear of deportation is a new reason.
A lot of people dont want to be a moving target or even seen as a target, says Nora Ruiz of the San Pablo Economic Development Corporation. And for fear that they might be seen as a certain type of person or judged in anyway, people want to get their tattoos removed.
Theres no evidence suggesting ICE agents are targeting people based on tattoos but people with gang ties or criminal backgrounds are at risk.
It appears some people arent taking any chances.
After he rode the Clinton pole for Hillary, no one trusts Comey, and everyone knows he does nothing but lie.
I did not, but I appreciated it like you did when I saw it.
Give me a moment. I have a cleaner version, if I can get back to it.
I’ll post it.
It is an excellent drawing!
There’s something about the bull dog look in the pencil drawing of him in the post I’m linking this to, that appeals to me more.
They are both good, and I can see folks liking the one you two do better.
I would encourage you to right click view, to see larger versions. You may not have tried that to this point.
Not sure if you ventured far enough to see this version of the one you liked.
I mean to link to this one in 44, but by accident linked to 45.

Guess I’m getting tired. I posted this to myself the first time.
LOL
No problem, FRiend... Getting tired myself. I just always want to answer people who take the time to post to me. :)
Take care! All the best to you and yours. Sleep well! :)

Tattoos and graffiti are the same thing; both are ugly, considered ‘art’ by the artists, and are usually in the wrong place.
As you say this is all about the tattoos that mark membership in violent Central American and Mexican gangs.
Those paying good money to have tattoos removed, the lawyers advising them and the media & NGOs providing the smokescreen know full well that tattoos with personal and not gang membership meaning put them at zero risk.
And Americans should be aware that since the "Latino community" knows that those gangs kill non-members who have gang tattoos, there is no confusing gang tattoos from non-gang tattoos and there is zero chance that any "Latino" sporting a gang tattoo is not a gang member.
Every Latino paying to have tattoos removed is removing gang tattoos and are or have gang members. Americans should not be fooled and ICE should stakeout all tattoo removal businesses in the community.
“and are or have gang members” = “and are or have BEEN A gang member”
Thanks Julie. I did. Hope you did as well.
