Krauthammer has been a consistent #nevertrumper.

Obamacare needs to be repealed and replaced, and I’d prefer steps 1, 2, and 3 all be at the same time.

However, Krauthammer doesn’t actually want any of it.

The best time to kill a new movement is at its very beginning. The same with an entitlement.

Kill it now.

The ones that would lose their health insurance would not vote republican anyway. Ignore their opinion on this.

Kill the bill. Repeal obamacare or let it go bust. Do not allow the GOP to “legitimize” federal healthcare insurance entitlements.

I’ve stopped caring about Charles “Mommy - What’s Wrong With That Man’s Face?” Krauthammer has to say about anything.

Health care is a right. Health insurance is a responsibility.

Nobody should be denied health care and nobody should expect somebody else to purchase health insurance for them.

There’s a reason not one Western democracy with some system of national health care has ever abolished it.

Not so. Some democracies have collapsed economically, due to bloated debt, thus have been forced by economic law to abolish health care.

There must be many, but Argentina comes to mind. I wonder what's up with health care in Greece...

Read the article. Or at least read the end of the article....

Unless, of course, you go the full Machiavelli and throw it all back on the Democrats. How? Republicans could forget about meeting the arcane requirements of “reconciliation” legislation (which requires only 51 votes in the Senate) and send the Senate a replacement bill loaded up with everything conservative — including tort reform and insurance competition across state lines. That would require 60 Senate votes. Let the Democrats filibuster it to death — and take the blame when repeal-and-replace fails and Obamacare carries on and then collapses under its own weight.

Upside: You reap the backlash. Downside: You have to live with your conscience.

This is where Kraut gets it. This is what I belive Trump is doing here. Surely he's not dumb enough to think he can expect RINOCare will pass. There are not enough Repub votes. And that is a good thing.

So let the version 1, 2, 3 ...... 15, 16 whatever fail. And let ObamaCare implode and fail was well.

And as far as living with my conscience? Yeppers. I'll sleep like a baby.

Until the day the public treasury finally runs dry.
Then repeal suddenly becomes not so difficult.

20 million, a large portion of which are illegal, get FREE HEALTHCARE. The rest of us that pay for them cannot afford to use our now unnafordable insurance. I say F’ck em.

Screw Krauthammer. If the first of the three bills clear the House and Senate and Trump signs, I fully trust Trump.

obama and the democrats who wanted and voted in Obamacare should be made to pay for all the increases people have had under obama care and those of us who managed to keep our coverage but had it escalate in cost as well as they should pay dearly to all who had loved ones lose coverage and be made worse or die due to their implementing this fiasco of “health care” coverage.

Sorry, Charles, that only holds true for spineless representatives. After all, the 2nd Amendment guarantees our access to firearms. Yet the communists and liberals won't stop trying to take that away. We need to be every bit as dedicated to taking away socialized medicine. Free market is the American way.

The IRS should not be a collections bully for drug billionaires in Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco or elsewhere.

Premiums have become unaffordable for millions.

Premiums for a person my age in Florida went from ~$150/month -> ~$500/month.

The PPACA and its bank account draining premiums are simply intolerable.

Once something is given — say, health insurance coverage to 20 million Americans — you take it away at your peril.

Obama took away affordable health care for 150 million middle class Americans and got away with it scot-free. I'd rather restore them to a workable system and take my chances with the deadbeats.

Food is a far more basic "right" than medical care. Food is needed immediately, within 48 hours or so.

Medical care can wait for six months, a year, five years.

Get Kroger, ALDI, Publix, Trader Joe, Piggly Wiggly, Albertson's, Marsh, etc, to sign on to universal FOOD INSURANCE!. Much more basic and immediate right than medical care. Plus, it's for the CHILDREN.
