Shaken by confirmation that the new administration of its biggest contributor is proposing sweeping reductions to its funding, the United Nations on Thursday warned that abrupt funding cuts could harm long-term reform efforts.
Meanwhile more than 100 Christian leaders including two participants in President Trumps inauguration ceremony appealed to Congress to reject the administrations proposals for significant cuts to foreign aid. [ ]

What kind of “Christians” are these?
Leftwing Soros-stooge “Christians” ?
AS IF the UN is helping ME Christians right NOW
AS IF the UN is helping ME Christians right NOW
Instead, they support refugee "solutions". If the problems aren't solved in place, the problems aren't solved. Instead, they're being spread all over the globe.
grrrr.....
What... they’ are not going to like us?
That ship has sailed
Catholic Charities won’t get paid to resettle Somalis in Ohio? Sounds like a win to me.
Deep Cuts are not enough. Total cuts are called for, including geographical cuts.
The ones that show up in collars and demand men’s right to go to the bathroom with your mother, daughter, sister or granddaughter.
Follow the money, and it will probably show that somehow these so called leaders and/or their ngo’s get our tax $’s and benefit from those $’s.
The ones that show up in collars and demand mens right to go to the bathroom with your mother, daughter, sister or granddaughter.
Yup. That’s the kind of “christian leaders” they’re talking about here.
It’s like the groups of “rabbis” the media presents who all turn out to be leftist aetheist Reform “rabbis.”
Uh oh! The UN wants money from the USA, the most hated country they know.
I hope we give them NOTHING and also kick them out of New York. Watch the tyrannical organization crumble. It’s long over due. The UN hates Christians too. Stop Foreign Aid to all countries that hate us. Reduce it to countries that don’t support us. And give more to those that help us and are active allies.
“Christians”. Sure.
This just shows how politically correct so called Christians have become. I consider myself a Christian and these folks do not represent me. They are more like Judas in my opinion.
The UN has been preaching “long-term reform efforts” for years. Results? Laughable. The reason Dolan and other Christian charities are upset is that their rice bowl is about to be broken. Immigrants were money in the bank, not only for Christian charities but for the UN High Commission on Refugees as well.
The un objects to us cutting it out of OUR budget — shocker!
UN out of the US, US out of the UN!
And strip tax exemptions from politically activist churches.
President James Monroe was right. He was always right.
“What kind of Christians are these?”
They are the “Spending Other People’s Money Christians!” They believe in the servitude of the productive to “care for” the world’s “deserving trash.” And FWIW, most of the world’s poor are poor because of some form of “religion!” “Religion” that is fighting this war or that against some other “religion!” You begin to wonder what G-d is thinking about all of this stuff “being done in His name!”
Cut it ALL. Tired of paying for Muslim crap disguised as do-gooder Christians/Catholics. Ignoring the Christian slaughter in the Mideast was a disgrace and criminal. Christians and the UN importing these people into America needs to stop NOW or this republic will become a third world toilet.
