Even before Donald Trump was inaugurated, U.S. citizens who own land along the border reportedly began receiving letters from the Justice Department informing them that the federal government wants their land to build a fence (i.e. the presidents border wall), that it intends to acquire their land, and the amount of compensation the government is offering.

I’m wondering whether this isn’t a hoax.
They build sound barriers along major expressways, what is the difference between the “Wall” or a sound barrier, just change the name, sound barriers are the same type wall President Trump purposes, so just call them Sound Barriers so what if that ‘sound barrier is 15-20 ft tall’?
While you are building them put in seismic equipment, and electrified fencing. Remove all aid stations in the deserts as illegal garbage dumps.
You reference the American Jet Skiers murdered on Eagle Lake so their vessels could be used, once, for smuggling drugs.
I think what you said is true. We used to lease land in south Texas for deer hunting. It got so dangerous with illegals wandering around that we gave up our long time lease.
One term in office,
Two terms in jail!!
I was really tickled by it. The inside is interesting as well, each room in the library features a different type of wood, walnut, maple, mahogany, etc.
I was pissed though, went I came back over the border (after going to the Monastery in Canada) where the US side made me wait for a half hour, and asked me if I owned guns.
It really bugged me, because it was completely deserted there, I was the only car that even came through that entire time, and it made me steam.
That was the first time I had an experience like that, and the second time was going up to PEI, where they asked me again if I had guns, took my car apart (even emptying out my pill case in my shaving kit and reprimanding me for mixing my pills instead of having them in separate containers!)...then I got stopped on the way home on a virtually deserted highway just south of Halifax by two police cruisers who again asked me if I had guns. (I don’t blame them there, they got a call from a gas station that said I had driven off without paying for gas, which was technically true, but due to a misunderstanding not intentional...the store clerk apologized profusely and said he told the police he knew it was unintentional, but I had to backtrack 40 miles to clear things up.)
I haven’t been back up to Canada in my car since then...sigh. Don’t know where all that gun stuff comes from, unless they ask it of anyone wearing a military veteran hat. Maybe next time I won’t wear it, just to see what happens.
The IDES of March was yesterday. But yeah, good point.
Yvette Salinas.....Gee I wonder which side of controlling the border she’s on!!
A Texas wall is just stupidity. Than means the stupidity is Trumps"
True, only IF you do not understand the difference between a "wall" and an "international border"
Building a wall is a construction project not an international treaty agreeing on borders.
Bert the country is being overrun. Only an idiot or a leftist at this pit is opposed to the wall. Which are you?
Who said concrete. A double metal wall both encrusted with many yards per linear foot of razor wire with guard towers every so often to scan the middle plain would more than suffice.
If the completed wall isn’t viable from low orbit I will be disappointed.

The entire interstate road network was built in the 60’s and 70’s using eminent domain. We are talking some prime land that was appropriated for those interstate roads and not some desolate scrub land. Some how scrub land on the border with Mexico is like gold.
A bunch of cows are not going to stop America from securing it’s borders.
Here are some maps showing some completed structures along the Rio Grande.
I can’t get most of them to open in the Adobe format. Maybe others can.

Save the tribal land sections for last. Once the illegals are funneled through the reservations, the feces will hit the ventilator...
NO.
Thanks. I don't know about heroism, but some of my forebears had very interesting lives.
