UPDATE (8:33 p.m.): The Associated Press is reporting that Maddow has one of President Donald Trump's income tax return from 2005.

UPDATE (8:35 p.m.): The White House has responded that Trump paid $38 million in taxes on his income of $150 million, which was what was legally required of him.

Well, this sure is interesting: MSNBC host Rachel Maddow claims to have a copy of "Trump's" tax returns. She tweeted that she'll be unveiling them on her show at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday night.
Maddow did not specify which Trump nor which year the returns were for.

It's unclear as to why someone would release the returns now. The election is over. Trump won. This can't possibly change anything.

B. What's the big deal? He paid at a 25% tax rate on $150mm. At least he paid something, unlike Romney and probably a lot of other rich, famous, and political people.

I know the liberals want to make their political statements and all that . But, to me, if someone is legally paying their taxes, what more do they expect??
The media showed a genuine lack of interest in the Clintons returns.
One nugget from their returns, were that the Clintons made a $1 million donation to their own charity.
While apparently legal, that sure sounds fishy to me. You have a family charity, and you reduce your taxes substantially by donating money to a charity which you control????
Is there any such unusual but legal activity in the Trump returns? We’ll see. But again, why the great interest in Trump, when the same media had no interest at all in the Clintons????

Can Trump sue her ass for doing this? In addition to criminal prosecution, it would be nice if Trump could take a few million dollars away from her.
