White professors — especially “senior white males” — are under fire at Virginia Commonwealth University as an impediment to diversity and inclusion.
An extensive campus climate survey of faculty and staff at the large, Richmond-based public institution has found that the majority of employees are upset that not enough white male professors attend campus diversity trainings, not enough professors infuse social justice into their curricula, and not enough professors of color, especially female ones, teach at the school.

They know nothing gets done without people who have their sh!t together; enslavement seems to be the goal, not eradication. Here in NJ it is harder and harder for firms to find white guys to do the work (as Americans flee the state); the diverse “others” are a poor substitute, and provide job security for us white guys that are working.

Working whites in decent jobs should always remember their knowledge and skills are the only reason some “preferred token” hasn’t been given the job instead - and guard that knowledge zealously. I’d never mentor a “preferred minority”, or ever teach them anything that wasn’t designed to improve MY workday.

You just stumbled upon the ugly truth. "Diversity" is just a code word for "non-White." This is becoming more and more obvious each day.
As I like to say, any time I see the term White Privilege, I translate it as White Competency and Western Civilization and things make more sense. I really hope that someone tries to use the White Privilege talking point in my presence, as I will verbally unload on them. If they don’t want to live in the schema that White Competency and Western Civilization provides, they need to quit complaining and appropriating my cultural heritage and go live in a mud or straw hut without electricity, running water, and plumbing. And probably die an early death.
