New Critique: House Dem Concerned that Trump Is a President Who Stays Up All Night

Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY)suggested on Monday that President Trump does not have the mental capacity to serve as commander in chief.

“This is not somebody, in my mind, who is emotionally stable enough to be president of the United States,” he said on MSNBC on Monday. “I have real serious concerns about this.”

Specifically, the representative wants a president who will take a 3:30 a.m. phone call, but will not stay up all night tweeting.

“I think that’s what we have,” Yarmuth said. “We have a president who is up all night, who’s tweeting at all kinds of crazy hours, who’s making unsubstantiated claims that are really dangerous, who’s concerned himself with trivial matters like the ratings of ‘The Apprentice.'"

I don’t understand the criticism here. Is an insomnia-prone president not preferable to one who is fast asleep at moments of crisis?

Contrary to liberal rhetoric, Trump has done much more than tweet since entering the White House. He’s been meeting with business leaders, foreign presidents and prime ministers, and just about everyone in Congress, to pursue policies he believes are in the best interests of the country - all the while signing executive order after executive order.

Since many of Trump’s actions are undoing President Obama’s agenda, perhaps it's no surprise that Yarmuth prefers he remain in bed.

When Donald J. Trump is in conversations with Mensa members, he has to restrict his vocabulary to words of no more than four syllables.

The Prometheus Society is a high IQ society, similar to Mensa International, but much more restrictive. The entry test is designed to be passable by 1 in 30,000 of the population, while Mensa entry is achievable by 1 in 50.

People with very high IQ numbers are not necessarily all that much smarter than other people, but they have a much larger store of learned/retained information than most other people, and are, for the most part, able to access and process this store of facts much more quickly, and integrate new factual material into the process more smoothly.

Given enough time, even a person of only average intelligence can come to some pretty good and well-reasoned conclusions, it just takes longer and with more false starts.

Hilary did not face the public on election night! Trump and his entire family and team looked fresh and ready to govern at 3am. (Late hour caused by Hilary being royally messed up).

I was way more worried about the pot smoking (who knows what else) sleeping late, late to meetings or not attending at all, gay/mooslimb loving, golf course roving dumbass that was in there before. So this guy had no concerns about any of that? None?

He'll be up to take that 3 AM phone call from Benghazi that Hillary let go to voicemail.

This guy is a dolt. Trump has an auto tweet set to wake the press at 3:30 and deprive them of sleep. He woke them up last Saturday morning with the wiretap tweet and it ruined their weekend.

“Been hearing that crap my entire life.

I go days without sleep sometimes and mostly I’m good after only 4-5 hours of sleep.

Some of us just don’t need much sleep.”

At the risk of complimenting you, it seems that a lot of creative and intelligent people fit this pattern. Thomas Edison and Salvador Dali come to mind.

This House member is confused how long it takes to write a tweet.
Perhaps his mistress can clue him in.

These are the same hours he kept when he built up a multi-billion dollar organization. All that lesser men can do is whine about everything he does.

These dumbass Dems can’t get their story right. Remember when they were trashing Reagan because he went to bed early and got up late. So the meme then was he slept too long. When Clinton had all nighters with his staffers, it was hailed as extraordinary and intellectual discussions. Now, Trump doesn’t sleep long enough. Just one more example of how deprived of any kind of character, ethics and honesty the Democrats are.

I’m not exaggerating when I say most of the Democrat representatives in Washington are criminally insane. They need to not just be removed from office. They need to be locked up.
