Nyack, NY which is kinda like Greenwich Village on the Hudson is a "hip" progressive artsy fartsy type of place that has bragging rights for being the first village in the Hudson Valley to elect an openly gay mayor. Yet the high school football team is still called, horror of horrors, the INDIANS! A side note, when Rosie O'Dunbass first appeared on the Spew she bought the old Helen Hayes estate, but sold it a year later and moved to S. Nyack, near where Bill Murray was living at the time because she and her "significant other" felt "uncomfortable" living in such close proximity to the village's Section 8 housing.
