Misty's hair was a lot darker looking when we kept it cut short. When it grew out some it was more Silver Gray looking, not real black.

Dusty was a Shih Tzu mix we think. I inherited both of these dogs Dusty when my Step-father died in 2000 and Misty when my father died in 2007.

I am not sure if I will ever get another dog as at the age my husband and I are getting it is very hard to take care of all their needs. I won't say never though.

Yeah, I’m finding dogs take a lot of work. At least my Yorky does. He is very needy. The cats couldn’t care less about much of anything as long as they get fed. The Cooper insist that he goes to town with me, goes for walks, has to be on my lap all the time. That’s what so delightful about him. But I have to have the time to give to him or he would be an unhappy little dog. He knows when we’re leaving and he doesn’t get to go. Somehow he just intuitively figures it out. He puts his little head down and he walks despondently to his dog cushion and then he sits in it with his head down and looks up with big sad eyes. He really is quite an actor. So he either gets to go with us or I come back as fast as I can. He has me wrapped around his little paw pier

Oh, I forgot to add my husband and I are trying to both create a business out of our home. That way we don’t have to be gone so long each day. It’s not all for the dog though, we want to do this anyway. But it certainly makes planning around him much easier. I won’t ever admit that it’s all for the dog… :-)
