Yeah, I’m finding dogs take a lot of work. At least my Yorky does. He is very needy. The cats couldn’t care less about much of anything as long as they get fed. The Cooper insist that he goes to town with me, goes for walks, has to be on my lap all the time. That’s what so delightful about him. But I have to have the time to give to him or he would be an unhappy little dog. He knows when we’re leaving and he doesn’t get to go. Somehow he just intuitively figures it out. He puts his little head down and he walks despondently to his dog cushion and then he sits in it with his head down and looks up with big sad eyes. He really is quite an actor. So he either gets to go with us or I come back as fast as I can. He has me wrapped around his little paw pier
Misty didn’t like riding in the car at all. She cried the whole time and it was nerve wracking, so we always had to find someone to care for her if we went overnight. So we didn’t go much. When we had to go to the store etc; she would go into our bedroom where her little bed was and sit in front of it. She wasn’t about to get in it until bedtime. :-)
