Muhammad Ali Jr. was detained by the Department of Homeland Security on Friday, weeks after he was detained at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz tweeted out, Friday.
Wasserman Schultz’s tweet read, “On way home on DOMESTIC FLIGHT Muhammad Ali Jr. detained AGAIN by @DHSgov. Religiously profiling son of ‘The Greatest’ will not make us safe.”

Everyone trying to board a plane is “detained” at the airport. So what’s the big deal?
The article states they used a wand to scan around jewelry that he didn’t remove before going through the big scanner.
Knowing that he didn’t do what he was instructed probably brought on the TSA.

Pffffft. I was profiled all the time for being a single gal flying on my own abroad and domestically. My husband was always profiled for having visited Turkey. Hell, I was DETAINED WITH A GUARD in the UK. (Long story.)
But I never received an intrusive pat-down and my privates looked at. My hubby did when he visited the USSR. They made him strip naked. Seems we’re well on the way here.
My catholic girlfriend got searched for biological weapons agents back when Obama was president. There’s no doubt in my mind that Obama was profiling her because she was a blonde haired blue eyed catholic girl.

Yes, it’s his son. I suspect there is another Muhammad Ali Jr. somewhere who does have terrorist connections. The whole terrorist no fly list is a fiasco. That’s how Fox reporter Stephen Hayes was on it at one time.
If he really wants to sail through American airports he should change his name to Casius Clay Jr. I'm sure the ICE agents would be high fiving him and asking for his autograph.
I have a friend with a very very common name: let's say David Brown, as an example of how common. Guess what - he had many problems with flying. Then he got the TSA expidited flyer thing. So, that would be another option for Mr. Ali.
I have the same problem when I get detained in Israel and Germany.
See if happens besides religion or Nationality Origin.
