There is some advantage in having experience, but, like you I like facts.
I personally believe that it is likely that Trump is the smartest person to occupy the office of President of The United States since Thomas Jefferson, that says a lot.
It is truly hard for me to believe that a guy as smart as Trump, who has always been right, would say something publicly he can't back up with proof. He likely suspected being tapped all along but once in the office has access to proof.
Everyone on the left expected Clinton to win and their illegal activities to be hidden forever and even if found not prosecuted. It could get interesting. While I do not expect to see Clinton or Obama behind bars it is possible that some actors in the crimes will be behind bars and that Clinton and Obama will be politically deeply harmed. They will be in the same category as Nixon, not crooks that everybody knows are crooks. My hope is that their convictions of crimes will hurt them horribly financially and that congress will impeach both of them. It is my understanding that even once out of office you can be impeached, where if convicted never allowed to hold office again. As a further punishment I would love to see any Federal pensions removed from them. Let them have Social Security just like everybody else.

The Clintons and obama all believe in and have flaunted their power and the invincibility of that power for decades now without any real danger to them or theirs.
They've long believed that their own stuff smells like perfume and money and they've been rolling in "it" long enough to believe this ride will never end. Why would they believe otherwise?
They said of themselves that "we're the ones we've been waiting for" and so they've fundamentally transformed America into their own image.
What could go wrong?
As Joe DiGenova and Jay Sekulow said on Hannity this week, Sessions hopefully has a grand jury looking at this right now.
Two cents: Handing it over to Congress is a smoke screen. The grand jury will actually indict impartially and more immediately, before the Dem congress people can grandstand and delay and publicly exonerate.

I don’t know if this private detective knows something or is blowing smoke but it has occurred to me that Pres. Trump might be using his own money to hire private contractors to do his own investigations.

A little off topic; however speaking of “just like everybody else,” does anyone know whether or not Ryan’s Ryancare rewrite of obamacare will now be including all Congress and Senate and their staffs and all federal employees?
Just wondering because I seem to recall last minute exemptions for all those “more equal” servants of the people.....
