The CIA has considered developing technology to hack the driving systems of road vehicles including cars and trucks, according to a WikiLeaks dump of agency documents released earlier today. From WikiLeaks press release:
As of October 2014 the CIA was also looking at infecting the vehicle control systems used by modern cars and trucks. The purpose of such control is not specified, but it would permit the CIA to engage in nearly undetectable assassinations.

Rarely see ones like yours any more.
He apparently was too given to many Hastings to and fro in an effort to get the goods on Obama and/or Company, and one or more of his Hastings got him killed.
(Sorry for the bad gallows humor, but I am so jaded about the Federal government and its ubiquitous, interminable, destructive, and even lethal, crimes that I despair.)
By the bye, it is Hastings, with an ‘s’.
But they want it to happen when he is alone, they have alibis, and it looks like driver error by a an unstable paranoiac.
I have the weekend time problem too. I saw some joker around here trying to sell the same truck as mine for 30k.
Yes, that is possible, if they gain physical access to the vehicle. Without physical access, it’s not possible. People are imagining they can just remotely seize control of any vehicle, which is not possible.
The older 4x4 stuff is a draw. A lot of overpriced stuff sits on Ebay. Frame off restored is wonderful and I wished I could pull it off knowing I would never see that money coming back.
My old Willys jeep is the only one people can see and I’ve gone about as far as I can with it. I don’t have a lift and some extra hands. The hope is to be able to send it off for the surgery it needs maybe in May.
Every contractor that comes to do things around here always asks about it.
The old K5 has been kind of neglected for a few years but it runs pretty well. I’ve hung the transfer case in low range.
An old YT video of it when I was going to sell it on Ebay is below. I had a case of dumb deadbeat bidder. All the guy had to say was that he changed his mind and I wouldn’t have pushed it. Things happen, I’ve been there. It wound up sitting more

Over the past few months I’ve thrown some resources at it. I replaced the locked up starter, locked up alternator, new plugs, wires, and PCV valve. I’d like to have it roadworthy for my birthday in a few months. There is just a tiny bit of lifter noise on the passenger side.
I plan to pull the hood and fenders off and fix things my way especially since I’m not Larry Bird. I don’t have the reach and flexibility. Besides the wells are rusted and I got replacements pretty cheap on Amazon.
The AC doesn’t work and some of the lines look bad so it’s coming off along with all the other AC stuff. It’s got windows.
As that goes on, revamping the cooling and heater will be going on. The radiator leaks and has for a long time.
The CJ7 is a long term job, one pricey piece at a time.

I thought the CIA was formed to “work” outside of the United States.
