Istanbul (AFP) - Turkish, Russian and US military chiefs held talks on Tuesday in the southern Turkish city of Antalya to discuss regional issues including Iraq and Syria, the Turkish army said.
"Common issues relating to regional security, in particular Syria and Iraq, are being discussed at the meeting," the army said in a statement, without elaborating further.

This is not about coordination. It is about Erdogan going rogue trying to impede the capture of Raqqa.
And remember the deal he made with ISIS for them to leave Al-Bab? Yes, he did. What were the terms of the deal? There were reports of him allowing ISIS to rebadge and rearm joining Turk allied militias.
Trump should have instructed his people tonread the Turks the Riot Act if, for nothing else, their outrageous actions against our key ally, the Kurds.
ISIS is a Turkish proxy, and until Obama departed, it was our proxy too.
With the arrival of Trump, and the de facto rapprochement between Trump and Putin, Turkey sees the writing on the wall. They are trying to make the best deal they can as it all collapses. Mainly they will give up ISIS but reserve the right to kill Kurds.
I’d rather have the Generals talking than having politicians make any more decisions. From all we’ve read over the past few years, it does seem that there are some real bad guys that all of the established forces can agree need disintegrating.

McCain was. He was also mouthing off against the administration. One has to wonder why he isn’t charged with Sedition or arming terrorists, or something.
