Yes, There Could Be Serious Legal Problems if Obama Admin Involved in Illegal Surveillance

President Trump recently tweeted claiming that former President Obama wiretapped him during his campaign. One can only imagine how nuts the media would have gone if the roles had been reversed: President Trump wiretapping either Obama or the Clintons, though his DOJ could have authority to do just that given the expansive leaks of intelligence information by Obama and Clinton supporters the last few months. Heck, he could wiretap the media at this point, legally and legitimately, as the sources of these unlawful leaks, for which Obama himself set precedent. Do liberals understand what Pandora’s Box Obama opened up by Obama using the powers of the NSA, CIA and FBI to spy on his political opponents? Even Nixon never did that.

If the stories are correct, Obama or his officials might even face prosecution. But, we are still early in all of this and there are a lot of rumors flying around so the key is if the stories are correct. We just don’t know at this time.

No, on that last point. They went back in October with another version, which was approved this time.

Dead on. And why do it, since Hillary was going to win hands-down?

Not necessarily because it is spying on a political opponent. Judge shopping even in FISA is the rule plus FISA almost never turns a request down

Am I correct to say 'whoa' to the following? I thought Sessions replacement having recused himself would be a sniveling O appointee ... but this paragraph appears to say 'not exactly so' - that while it's technically an O appointee - meaning he can't be claimed to be a Trump shill, it's one O removed because he feared him as Session's backup ... but then Trump reinstated him.

" Democrats may regret Sessions’ recusal, as his replacement is a mini-Sessions: a long-respected, a-political, highly ethical prosecutor, Dana Boente, whose reputation is well-warranted from his service at the Tax Division, and who won’t be limited by any perceived ties to Trump, given his prior appointment by Obama. Obama himself appeared scared of Boente, as he removed Boente from the successor-to-Sessions position during the lame-duck part of Obama’s presidency, but Trump restored Boente to that role earlier this month. Democrats may get the investigation they wanted, but it may be their own that end up named in the indictment."

Here is my prediction.

Democrats will soon, very soon quit calling for an investigation,
because an investigation will uncover Watergate style corruption
and criminal activity on the part of Obama and his Intel henchmen.
Many RATs will go to jail over this.
That’s my prediction and I’m sticking to it.

Obama will have first learned of the wiretaps on the news tomorrow morning.

Got it. And that is where, per this article, they may have really crossed over the line:

“Second, it is possible Obama’s team may have perjured themselves before the FISA court by withholding material information essential to the FISA court’s willingness to permit the government surveillance.”

As one FNC guest theorized, since the FISA court already turned down a request to wiretap Trump, yet a second attempt was successful, wouldn’t it be logical to assume that “something” was different in the 2nd request?

Something like, for example, omitting the name “Trump” and fuzzing it up to make the focus on “foreign entities” or something?

That’s what I’ll bet we find they did in order to get the order approved on the 2nd attempt. And leaving out material facts is a felony.

Now I understand why Sessions recused himself. The democrat fascists were planning on using wiretap evidence they could distort to make their case and now they've denied they ever wiretapped Trump.

Trump and Sessions played this nicely.

Because McCabe knew Comey was going to re-open the email case?

I think I understand now. Trump is beyond outraged at the slow-walking from the DOJ/FBI and tossed a nuke at McCabe to take him and his fellow travelers with him.

Seeing Sessions mangled was the last straw. I daresay the Indivisible faction in FBI was resisting indictments Sessions is about to hand down. Trump’s sick of the foot-dragging, and blew it up.

There is two things

There could be and illegal wiretap and illegal use of the information.. given to the Hillary campaign for political use

Or

You could have a legal wiretap it had a warrant but a illegal use of the information... given to the Hillary campaign for political use

Flynn call was potentially legally recorded but the information was illegally used for political purposes
