ACCORDING TO PROSECUTORS, DANIEL PYE TRAVELED FROM FLORIDA TO HAITI ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS BETWEEN 2008 AND 2011 FOR THE PURPOSE OF SEXUALLY ABUSING MINORS.
WASHINGTON, United States, Thursday March 2, 2017 -- An American man who ran a missionary orphanage in Haiti has been charged for allegedly having sex with girls who resided there.
Prosecutors say 35-year-old Daniel John Pye traveled from Florida to Haiti on multiple occasions between 2008 and 2011 for the purpose of sexually abusing minors. Over the period, they say, he sexually assaulted at least four victims between the ages of six and 14.
He has been charged with "traveling in foreign commerce with the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with a minor", the US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida Wifredo Ferrer.
Pye began running the missionary orphanage that cared for, fed and educated orphans as well as underprivileged children with living parents, in the southern coastal city Jacmel about 11 years ago. It was affiliated with Haitian Children's Home, but following a financial conflict, he was fired by the board of Haitian Children's Home. However, Pye continued to run the orphanage with alternative funding.
According to the criminal complaint, the mother of one of Pye's victims -- a six-year-old who was the subject of most of the sexual abuse -- was fired from her job at the orphanage when she confronted the American about his actions. However, Pye continued to pay her.
"She said Pye had sexually abused her every day, whether his wife was home or not, beginning in 2008, when she was approximately six years old," the complainant stated, adding that the abuse went on until 2011.
Another victim, who as nine years old at the time, said Pye would touch her inappropriately while they were swimming. She said she also saw him molesting the six-year-old girl and having sex with another victim, who was around 12 or 14 years old at the time.
Judgement Day wont come soon enough for some folks.
The human monsters who took part in this will get their just rewards.
very clever
I hope his cellmates are Haitian or have some Haitian friends. Let this man receive a first hand understanding of what he did.
Does he regularly frequent pizza restaurants ?
It looks like they are freelancers who get money from whatever church they can. I saw a reference to a Christian church in Indiana, and a Southern Baptist church in Alabama.
I didn’t see a mention of a home church
Christ had some warnings about abusing his children in Matthew 18:6
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Yes, and I don’t know if Jesus was even thinking in these terms.
These are despicable acts.
He earned the nickname “Pizza Pye” around the missionary orphanage, but sources close to the organization were said to be unfamiliar with its provenance.
His main activity in Haiti (2008-11) was while Clinton was the Secretary of State (2009-13), including around the 2010 earthquake, which was Bill Clinton’s big fundraising scam.
During 2011, Pye spent several months in Haitian prison.
From Fox News at that time:
“A State Department official would not discuss details of the case, but told FoxNews.com learned that the department is monitoring the case closely and providing all appropriate counselor assistance.
Our last counselor visit to him was on March 1; the deputy chief of mission and the consul general held a productive meeting with the Haitian minister of justice in which they reiterated our desire to see Mr. Pye afforded due process as soon as possible.”
Pye was living in Arkansas when the current indictment was issued.
