It is a moment that MacLaine said she is still trying to cope with days later.
'I think were all processing the horror of it. Im still dealing with it,' MacLaine said in an interview with USA Today.
'Im concerned with how [Beatty] must have felt, being so close to him. Im three years older and Im protective. We know how difficult it was for him, but it was also for me.'
Cameras captured the moment the Moonlight cast and crew learned of their win, and MacLaine could be seen in the background gasping, covering her mouth in shock and then clutching her chest.

Well? Do they?
There is room for doubt. It's understandable why they may be so nervous.
“Evidently the only horror they have experienced is a role they played in a movie.”
Possibly, or maybe they had to sit in couch instead of 1st class once. That could potentially cause the need for psychiatric care for them.
‘I’m basically a mystic. And Im wondering what was that all about? And I am not sure yet. I have to think about it some more,’ said MacLaine.
‘The one thing you learned about what occurred at the Oscars is that every instant of life is important. And anything like that can happen to you, driving in a car, leading a seminar, working at your desk and presenting an award.’
I would change one thing you said, though... at the beginning... you are basically a moron.
They should do away with the pompous celebs, and just read off the winners at an awards dinner, having them stand at their table for applause. NO speeches no nothing. GEt you statue and sit down. The show will have some great entertainment, with the awards in between. Should take no more than an hour.
Why is De Caprio being blamed now?
Is he? Heck, I had no idea.
That's what Steve Harvey did, and that's why his career hasn't suffered.

Shirley, Shirley, Shirley, in the scheme of things it’s
NOTHING of any import. (Those who organized that thing
were disorganized to start with. The host kept an air of
disorganization & confusion going throughout, from the
little bags of favors dropping out of the sky, to the
bus tourists doing “selfies”, the confusion throughout;
so it’s no surprise the climax of the show turned out
disorganized and confused. No one thought for a minute
that it was Warren Beatty’s fault! I don’t watch the
“stars” all dressed up in spensy gowns; haven’t in years.)
In fact, I guess the mix-up added some bit of variety to
an otherwise dull subject. It may just increase the
dwindling tv audience if people think it’s going to be
a fiasco every year.
The real winner was Al Sharpton whose racial intimidation last year carried the day for blacks this year.
And the winner is KARMA.
‘Im basically a mystic. And Im wondering what was that all about?’
Let me help folks understand what she means:
“I’m basically a moron...” - is what she is trying to say...
I'm guessing it has something to do with how vocal they are in opposition to Trump.
Know what’s even crazier? That a sicko movie like Moonlight won best picture. I remember Brokeback Mountain winning although it sucked totally. Only reason these movies win is the adgenda. I can see no other reason whatsoever for Moonlight other than fact it’s LGBT.
BINGO!!! Let’s not leave out how accepting they are to transgender, LGBT, homosexual, lesbian, multisexual (is there such a thing?), any skin color but white, any religion but Christian, Ah...there now! Much better.
i could never watch brokeback mountain, milk, birdcage, wong foo/julie newmar, or any of the other gay-agenda movies.
Not because I hate gay people, but because THEY SUCKED.
I’d get about 3 minutes in, to see what all the fuss was about, and then I was totally disinterested in the boring propaganda. And then when they SHOWED gay guys making out, I wanted to physically throw up.
yeah, same here. must be becasue we are deplorable ;>)
