Her role in “Miracles from Heaven” suggested to me that she has had a real-life encounter with the Lord. Or, she was acting her (shapely) butt off.
In my experience it also seems to be a generational thing. Most of my older relatives want the grey shoe leather thing going on with their beef. Yeah, I think you are right, it stems from health concerns, usually health concerns that might have been more frequently occurring in the past.
But I think there is a reason you never see steakhouse commercials where their product is prepared and eaten well done, much less with ketchup.

I have seen photos of Jennifer taking her three kids to church. She seems to have become more spiritual since her separation from Affleck. And yes, I find her very attractive, also.
In case Pres. Trump is too busy I will be happy to clear some space on my intense schedule to enjoy the company of Jennifer Garner!
