A puppy outfitted with a backpack of explosives serves as a cruel reminder that ISIS is seeking innovative ways to cause mass casualties.
Video surfaced this week appearing to show a pup quivering in fear as fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces describe their discovery.
The PMU militia – backed by the Iraqi government – told a camera how they deactivated the remote-controlled explosives – saving themselves and the dog.
“What was this animal’s crime?” the fighters ask, according to a translation from Metro U.K. “ISIS booby traps (animals) and send them out against us.”

I saw this on FR yesterday. I am skeptical. I also did not think that Muslims would care about puppies. ??
In WWII the Russians strapped bombs to to trained dogs and had them run out to German tanks.
Old idea.
As I recall, the Russians tried this during WWII. They trained a bunch of dogs to carry demolition packs, with the intent of using them as anti-tank weapons against NAZI tanks.
They trained them to run under a moving tank carrying a weighted pack, and then gave then treats when the dogs perfomed well.
The problem: They used Russian tanks to train them. German tanks looked different, and the engine sounds were different.
In the chaos and noise of combat, the dogs wanted to run towards the tanks that looked and sounded like the tanks they were trained with.
This tactic may backfire on ISIS.
Muslims hate dogs. It stems from Mohammed’s caravan raiding days when the dogs would warn the caravan of the muslim raiders.
I did a search and found nothing with ISIS and puppies in it. That said I agree since dogs tend to be considered unclean by them but on the other hand they seem to be able to break whatever rule they want so who knows.
When do we get around to destroying these muslims?
I’m waiting for PETA to register a complaint. So far, crickets.
Maybe now Hollyweird will join the fight. Dead Christians are OK with them, but kill puppies, and WATCH OUT!

I guess we are so desensitized no one cares that they use child killers and bombers. But puppies... that’s over the top.
