BREAKING: Attorneys: Trump administration says it will drop federal government's opposition to strict Texas voter ID law.
Suddenly I’ve forgotten what this thread is about.
Fingerprints and retina scan. For involvement in any official USA activity. Voting, driving and living here.
Too many illegals, criminals and freeloaders as it is.
That’s President “Sweetness” Trump, handing the ball to ALL of us DEPLORABLES to spike!!
Thank you POTUS!
Thank you AG Sessions!!!
SOOOOO much winning!!!! How SWEEEEEEET it is!!
WHat about us in NC?...
Save some winning for tomorrow. :)
Get your ID out to vote in Texas or you don’t vote, Jose.
It will take a while to not expect perverseness from DOJ, but this is a great start!
If your old GOV had been still in then he would have talked to the President about this, and I ma sure the case would be dropped. Sadly you now have a Dem, but your state rep should still get the President on the phone about this.
I welcome this.
I also hope enemies of our republic are really sweating about it. Schadenfreude.
My only question is what took them so long. 8>)
Another for your Win list.
Hell, I needed an ID to buy a can off spray paint at Home Depot over the weekend....
Some around here might be tempted to post an antidote, but that would be cruel.
Woo hoo!
Yes indeed!
There was no real and justifiable basis for a lawsuit, in my opinion.
Gathering the paperwork could be a hassle -- but who nowadays lacks ID, other than most chiefly illegal immigrants?
Even the Democrat Party at this link; http://www.txdemocrats.org/act/voter-id-basics acknowledges;
If you dont have one of the accepted IDs, you can get a free Election ID Certificate from your nearest Department of Public Safety Office, or at one of the Secretary of States mobile ID stations. In order to get a free Election ID Certificate, youll need to bring documentation with you to verify your identity and to show that you are a U.S. citizen. Most people need a birth certificate plus two supporting documents.
A birth certificate alone appears sufficient establish identity. Match that with a letter mailed to address of registry from a bank, a utility bill...anything officially identifying what will be the listed home address, and bingo -- FREE voter ID card.
I hope that similar Voter ID laws will be enacted in other states.
WINNING!
YEAH!
