A German sailor who had survived two months as a hostage of Somali pirates nearly a decade ago was beheaded in the Philippines by Islamic terrorists, a short video released Monday showed, after a deadline to pay the mans ransom passed.
Jurgen Gustav Kantner's beheading was the first murder of a hostage by the terror group Abu Sayyaf since two Canadians were killed in June. Officials said they had sketchy information Kantner was killed because he was sick, Reuters reported.

Abu Sayyaf claimed in November that its gunmen had kidnapped Kantner and killed a woman sailing with him off neighboring Malaysia's Sabah state. Villagers later found a woman dead on a yacht with the German flag off Laparan Island in Sulu province in the southern Philippines, the military said.
Kantner and his partner, Sabine Merz, were taken hostage by Somali pirates in 2008 and later freed, officials said.

And what is globalist Angela Merkel’s reaction to what she sees as collateral damage?
Merkel’s response will probably be to invite more terrorist wannabes.

Canada’s dimmi Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is willing to hug all of Abu Sayyaf and bend over for each of them afterwards.

Germnans are a bit slow on some things. Too much brautwurst?
Sure, this is an outrage and a tragedy. But on the other hand, this man had already been kidnapped for ransom several years ago. He stated that he knew he was putting himself in danger by sailing into heavily pirated waters with no security but he would continue to do so anyway.
If you’re not going to protect yourself from 7th century savages, don’t come crying to me when they chop your head off.
This film should have won the Oscar for best documentary short
The subhuman savages are in the Phillipines too. Gonna be a long and hard fight to turn the bastards into worm food.
Hey Martin Schaefer, the answer to your question is the Koran.
A lot to go through.
The Philippines was (IMO) a move to discredit Duterte who is cleaning house of militant drugs and muslims.

A. Acid reflux
B. Anger that La La Land didn't win
C. Mohammedanism
Well, whatever mysterious thing it is, I am sure it has nothing to do with the clear commands in the Koran.
The ASG (abu sayaf group) have been doing this for years. Basically a bunch of thugs who kidnap for money. Yea, they're muslims too, but rely on paid ransoms for money.
The US spent a few years down in Basilan, Jolo, and Sulu, and a little in Mindanao chasing these a$$clowns until members of the Philippine Senate/Congress came out and said it was against the Philippine constitution to have active US combat troops fighting in the Philippines. After that, most of us were relegated to "training" our counterparts and no longer actively going after the ASG.
This past year, Dueterte put an end to the US presence in the southern Philippines. My 2 cents is that it was about time; all we were doing was wasting time and money trying to chase down kidnappers with little or no help from the Philippine Govt. They just wanted our money.
Duterte is a meat and potatos guy and takes no bullshit (his words ... as you know), so our presence wasn't needed because he had turned loose the cops and the military and they are kicking ass.
My comment was to flesh out the article and point to a political move that could have been done on board a ship or a dessert Somolia ... instead they went to the Philippines .... probably to prop up the MORO and illustrate they CAN get over Duterte.
BTW .. I LIKE Duterte as does my Filipina wife and all my expat friends mostly in Davao City .... my inlaws in the province and relatives in Manila/Cavite think he's terrific.
