Bush emphasized to host Today host Matt Lauer the importance to worship freely.
I think its very important for all of us to recognize one of our great strengths is for people to be able to worship the way they want to or not worship at all, Bush said. The bedrock of our freedom, a bedrock of our freedom, is the right to worship freely. And I you see, I understood right off the bat, Matt this, that is an ideological conflict. And people who murder the innocent are not religious people. They want to advance an ideology. And weve faced those in the past. I am for an immigration policy thats welcoming and upholds the law, he added.

“””He keeps his mouth shut for 8 years while Obama bashes him. Now he decides to open his mouth to attack Trump. This is a betrayal of conservatives who defended Bush against the more outrageous attacks from Obama over the past 8 years while he stayed silent. My opinion of Bush, while mixed to begin with, is dropping like a stone.”””
I totally agree. GW Bush seems to be intentionally driving a wedge between Conservatives.
Opposing Trump did not end well for little brother Jeb and it will also not end well for Dubya.
Radical islam is an ideology
Bush = derp
The temporary halt of people from countries that represent 10-15% of the muzzl'ems in the whole world certainly would be a poor way to prevent them from worshipping.
Maybe W really IS as stupid as the libs claimed.
There was a time when I respected this doofus
GWBush did give one little establishment dig. He specifically said “next four years”. IOW the establishment sees this only as a hiccup. Just like the teaparty was judge an unsustainable easily copied hic up.
All the Bushes are butt-hurt because DJT hurt little “low energy” Jebito’s feefees!
Murdering for Allah.
One of the few indisputably good things we can still say about him is this: he was better than Gore would have been.

When you think back to the Bush dynasty and how we got those dolts, it truly is amazing how well the manipulation works, on both the left and the right. In Bush Jr’s case, here is a guy who was not too bright but whose father was a congressman and grandfather was a Senator, so he gets into good schools for college. He gets B’s and C’s. Goes into the reserve, no distinction. Once out, he doesn’t do anything to demonstrate competence. Doesn’t run anything, doesn’t help his dad when his dad is President. He’s the son of a powerful man, well off, not accomplished, and a drunk. Nearly loses his family.
Then he cleans himself up and decides it’s time for him to put all the past aside and begin building a resume. So Daddy’s connections get him a job with the Texas Rangers, where he does nothing extraordinary. After a few years there, he runs for Governor of Texas. Nothing in his background provided any basis for him to think he should be governor of Texas, except his last name! Now, for the first time in his life, he does something showing merit. He defeats the crazy woman and wins, going on to do a decent job as governor. He is known mainly for getting along with democrats during that time.
With the resume sufficiently beefed up, now he thinks he can be President. He’s still the same mediocre bum he always was, but he is sold to conservatives as a true conservative, better than his father. After the Dole debacle, and faced with a choice of McCain or Bush, people fall for it. It was always a lie.
He was always just a creation of his father, who was orchestrating the globalization, stateless agenda. He didn’t care about the media, because he was accomplishing what that agenda. His low approval was OK because it gave him cover for not doing anything conservative.
His refusal to criticize Obama fits perfectly, because he didn’t disagree with the ends, only perhaps the speed of getting there. He will now find his voice. He is worse than Obama, for he was used to dupe conservatives, to be a placeholder until enough of us die off for them to finish the project of de-Americanizing this land. Without Bush to mollify us, the left could never win. He played his role, but he was never on our side.
Remember those pictures of GWB facial expressions compared to the monkey's? Well I wish the monkey had been president!
BS. Bush is giving ammo to the left and he knows it. What Trump is doing has nothing to do with the “Freedom to worship” or the “restricting of the Free Press.” Bush can go straight to hell!
The definition of "worship" does not and cannot EVER be interpreted as this:
Another reason why the Bush Family is a complete, total disappointing failure.
