In advance of President Trumps first State of the Union speech, random busybodies are urging him to tone it down. One adviser from the bleachers suggests he be humble and inclusive.
Sweet, but Im betting humble pie is not on the presidents menu. On the contrary, Tuesday night in the Capitol is likely to be a shock-and-awe blowout of pure Trumpism.
The idea that Trump must go mild has been a staple of the punditocracy since he announced his candidacy. That it still holds such a prominent place in his second month in the Oval Office reveals what slow learners media liberals are.
Although completely wrong about the mind-set of voters from start to finish, they remain steadfast in their certainty that Trump needs a personality transplant to satisfy the public. At least thats what they say.
What they mean is that they wont accept him as legitimate until he plays by their rules. They see themselves as Washingtons gatekeepers, entitled to deference from newcomers, with the added requirement that Republican presidents approach on bended knee. They use the hysterical reaction of their fellow Democrats as a bludgeon to demand that Trump conform to the progressive catechism. Milk and cookies to the distressed are recommended.

I, for one, didn’t vote for President Trump to be humble and inclusive. I voted for him to fix this government that has become hell-bent on self survival at all costs - even at the expense of our freedom. I want it put under control or put down, period.

Ditto! Well put.
President Donald J Trump: Go BIG or go home and make no apologies!

Good one!
President Trump should simply tell the truth.
Yep.
And every Rat “guest” should be thoroughly searched, with the inclusion of cavity searches.
No. We won. President Trump is the President of the United States, that’s inclusive enough! He must simply speak the truth and what his Admin is doing about it.
“Good one!”
I manage to find an acorn every now and again.
It does fit our President to a “T”.
Trump should and “ask” congress what bills to send him I front of citizens.
Think I should?
The Constitution doesn’t say there is to be A SotU speech. (Note capital “a.”)
The Constitution says the Pres is to send Congress “messages,” “from time to time.”
Since this will be a message to Congress on the state of the union, it’s meaningless to say it’s not THE SotU speech. Constitutionally, there is no THE SotU speech.
I hope to see Trump break the tradition of the annual juvenile fascist pep rally.
The great thing is now Trump doesn’t need to request time from the networks. He can make a speech from anywhere, anytime, on YouTube.
One really weird DemoRat congressman told his Fox TV host this AM that he was giving his guest ticket to some kind of muzzie physician who was "legal" just to make some kind of point against the President.
Legal or not, this packing of the guest list could lead to unprecedented demonstrations, yelling, shouting and chaos inside and outside the sacred halls.....particularly in the aisles and balcony visitor's gallery of the chamber.
Another popcorn event!

My advice to Team Trump was to send it over, not even go in person, like Jefferson & Lincoln.
Goal oriented will be best, a conversation in detail.
Report to Congress “from time to time.”
It'll be fun and productive.
That’s how I feel. He should just Be Himself. I voted for Trump because I like Trump. I like Trump most when he’s the Trumpiest. So TRUMP OUT, Mr. President! And let the chips fall where they may!
Trump will NEVER PIVOT TO CORRUPT ELITES...
Trump will be Trump when he gives that speech. He’s not going to be anything different but what he is: a America 1st Present who loves this country & abhors the PC culture.
I also expect the media to lose their minds again as they have every day since he vaulted into the lead during the primaries.
Watch for the democrats to either boo or walk out
And watch for Trump to make a wise crack about them.
