Former NAACP branch president Rachel Dolezal, who lied about being black but still identifies as black, is now jobless, living on food stamps and expects to lose her home next month.
"There's no protected class for me," the former NAACP branch president told The Guardian. "I'm this generic, ambiguous scapegoat for white people to call me a race traitor and take out their hostility on. And I'm a target for anger and pain about white people from the black community. It's like I am the worst of all these worlds."
Dolezal has applied for over 100 jobs, but has received no offers, even from a supermarket. She has, however, been offered work in porn and reality TV. While a friend helped pay her rent for February, Dolezal expects she'll lose her home next month.

She’s a known fraud. Not really a resume enhancer.
But just think of all the money she is saving on bronzer.
No matter what race she’s actually from, she should be able to choose which one she feels like she is.
It’s kinda like the same with choosing one’s bathroom, where you go to the one that you feel gender-wise you belong in, no matter what . Ask Obama about how that works. Your gender does not define you, so neither should your race.

I have known a few women that have driven cabs to get by. Respect that they did that instead of porn. One of my employees - a young lady - told me last week she is driving Uber to save up for her kids futures. I pay her pretty well but she wants more for them. Her husband is on the fence about the whole thing. He is not a people person and she is.

Wait! She’s a liar & a fraud for decades and she’s wondering why she has no ‘friends’? Seems obvious to me. If there were no racial preferences in hiring I would have absolutely no problem with her actions. It would still be silly and infantile, however.

Uber does confirm the account, as to what person has the phone in hand, not so much.
I doubt that very much. She's been a "teacher" at a few places, and probably gets nice pensions from those as well as from other quasi-government places she's been associated with.
She does have an interesting history... suing Howard University, plagiarism in her "art", the phony cervical cancer story, and who knows what else.
She's probably running this latest "poor me" story to raise a few million more to buy a yacht or something.
Why should there be a protected class for anybody?
