Given their disdain for the Catholic Church, why on Earth would they want to be “married” in one of them? Why not a non-denominational place, a public park, or any number of for-rent banquet halls? Surely, they’re not trying to create the illusion that their ceremony is somehow sanctioned by the Church? They’re not trying to gain some legitimacy to their union—they really don’t give a damn what the Church has to say, so why do they want this access?

Social wars that will rack and probably shatter this nation are inevitable.

The only question is how soon. Not yet, but this century probably. It all depends on solvency and the appearance of prosperity.

I’m sure there’s a basement or some storage area that can be used.

Next up - “We want to hold a seance in the meeting room of your church, you aren’t allowed to refuse.”

To test a liberal’s tolerance - “Then we get to demand mosques that rent out space let us hold Bible studies.”

“open to the public” is actually only on the choice of the private property owners - the church. It’s their property and they are not an arm of the government. The government can say “same sex marriages” are legal under the law, but that does compel any private citizen or any private property to be part of them.

Just like smoking is legal, & so is gambling, & so is abortion (and apparently (for now) “same sex marriage, but while controversial things may be “legal” under the law, the law cannot mandate EVERYONE participate in them, in their own private lives, with their own private property.

The Gaystapo isn’t content with tolerance for their lifestyle. They want normal people to embrace their mental illness.

These attacks are planned, completely unconstitutional, and likely to succeed. I hope the evil thugs behind these attacks are stopped.

There is no such thing as a homosexual wedding.

They need to check out the Catechism:

Catechism of the Catholic Church

2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered." They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
