President Trump, in his third week in office, met with a class of Green Beret candidates and brought them into the Oval Office for the first time in the courses history.
The 18 Army officers in the Special Forces Qualification Course, or Q-course, were visiting the National Security Council in early February, as a normal part of the course.
But this time, Deputy Assistant to the President Sebastian Gorka, who was scheduled to speak to the students, had suggested that they meet the president.
The plan was to take them into the Roosevelt Room in the West Wing of the White House, but Trump decided to invite them into the Oval Office, to take pictures with them for their families.
Halfway through the discussion, [Trump] said, Hey were not supposed to do this but follow me, and he brought them all into the Oval Office, took a group photograph around the Resolute desk, and then throwing the schedules into a bit of a tizzy, said OK thats not good enough,' Gorka told Breitbart News in an interview.

“throwing the schedules into a bit of a tizzy”
That made me smile for some reason.
With what’s his name it always looked like “mandatory fun.”
I actually think there’s more to it than that .. I think the President does it so the military will actually realize they now have a President WHO SUPPORTS THEM, and appreciates them.
After all, they have been dealing with an anti-military government for 8 years. Many of them just left the military because of how they were treated - lied to; many of them have suffered greatly under horrible treatment from the VA.
So, I think President Trump really wants our military - who we depend upon to defend us - to really believe they are important to us and we really do appreciate their sacrifices.
“Oh I would love to see the photos!”
But you won’t because it wasn’t a “photo op!” It was a private moment between the president and these fine young men. And my guess is that none of them will share their photo outside of their immediate family. It’s the way decent people behave.

Disinvite sports teams!!
You just had a fantastic idea. Whenever some BLM loser from a sports team says they are not coming to the White House, announce that that person's spot will be taken by a military hero who has risked his life for this country. Those 5 or 6 persons will be included in all the activities and the photo shoot, and they can have the opportunity to tell the players and the world what they did and why. It will turn around the whole narrative!
That’s a really great idea.
Trump
A True Patriot!
I Absolutely Agree!
I think you’re onto something .. Be sure you send the President a note .. and see what he says.
Credit to Professional.
Will do.
I think your proposal is pure genius!!
What a great way to SHAME the trump hater socialist take a knee crowd.
