Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris, one of 24 CEOs of the nation's largest manufacturing companies who met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday, said they were "encouraged by the pro-business policies" of the administration, adding that "this is probably the most pro-business administration since the Founding Fathers."
"We in the manufacturing sector are very encouraged by the pro-business policies of President Trump and his cabinet. Some of us have said that this is probably the most pro-business administration since the Founding Fathers. There is no question that the language of business is occurring here at the White House," Liveris said.

The exact reason I voted for Trump: JOBS.
Without JOBS, this country remains a mess. With JOBS people work, take care of their families, enjoy life and the rest of this nonsense going on in the country goes away.
Funny how that works and history proves my point. When we're prosperous, we're not at each others throats.
The horse goes in front of the cart. Two weeks ago Trump said he'd give the "phenominal" tax plan in a few weeks. Well... will I see it next week? Just because they can talk doesn't mean they should.
I am more than willing to be patient. In exchange for that patience I expect the hyperbolic yammering to stop. Don't tell me how supersplendiferous it's going to be when it comes. Just tell me when it's going to get here and don't miss the deadline.

Do you really reckon he's doing it in avacuum and doesn't need anyone's support? He has laid out what he intends to do as far as corporate taxes and reforming the tax codes - gonna be lots of stalling by some in the Congress - would you rather he come out with an official announcement and then have to fight the courts and the Congress, or get something together, run it by those who have to pass it before he can sign it, and pave the way?
Reality bites but it is reality - no matter how much one screws up one's face, clenches one's fists, and stomps one's feet.
He is being truer than any President in history as far as doing everything he can to keep his promises, yet we have so many trying to find some fault w/o considering that one big elephant in the room - reality.
When it comes to helping his conservative agenda - officially the most of anyone in history, including Reagan, your screen name is most apt.
and several FReepers that are conservative isolationists
