Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” Washington Post columnist George Will discussed his departure from the Republican Party and the decision by Fox News not to renew his contract as a network contributor.
Will suggested some of it was attributable to his refusal to support event President Donald Trump while he was a candidate. But later in that segment, he predicted some Republicans would change their opinions on Trump once he starts putting his policies forward.

I wonder if these establishment elite republicans have yet realized what could very well happen to them in the mid-term elections when they are challenged by REAL conservatives....

The left’s HATRED of Donald Trump has gone beyond ‘art form’ and has progressed into a sick competition to win approval from fellow Trump haters and the liberal news-media/entertainment industry that have invented the new sport of Trump HATE. It’s quite obvious that the object of that HATE is to chastise the Donald and anyone who dared to act like a FREE AMERICAN.
Just as I had diagrammed it in my last article, Trump HATE is gaining momentum with each morning’s freshly disparaging headlines and talk shows. If you haven’t read it, you should. “The Stepford Americans” (Canada Free Press). It clearly illustrates how liberal news-media and entertainment have for decades been progressively shaping the attitudes of their consumer-audiences in priming them for whoever will buy their mesmerized allegiance. And now, as a result, our President is the TARGET of the most dangerous group of EXTREMISTS on earth: our liberal press, television/entertainment. And through their actions and ‘journalism’, who can deny that they have issued what is tantamount to a deadly fatwa on our president.

The Uniparty was gob-smacked and flabbergasted by the poll this week that 73% of Americans approve of Trump’s deportation progress.
When jobs start kicking, and the ‘new normal’ framework the Uniparty desperately tried to solidify goes up in flames, DJT will have 70% approval. The foosball the Uniparty plays to keep the nation at 49-51 etc will come to a permanent halt.

I have no doubt the beltway GOP wants to control the agenda. They are hoping to weaken Trump enough that they can get away with doing it with help from the Democrats.
Sowing the seeds of doubt. Unfortunately, that POS Will recognizes that the conservatives are famous for forming circular firing squads at the slightest hint of scandal, and fall into traps set by the leftist MSM virtually every single time.

detective made the excellent point recently that FOX never set out to be conservative. They claim to be ‘fair and balanced.’ That means for every actual conservative, they need a moonbat to balance the equation. (I think they tilt left, but the idea, anyway, is to be balanced.)
There is always going to be some slippage once a president begins enacting their agenda.
Trump should have a poster or banner next to him at every presser with a picture of Hillary and the caption: “OR you could have had THIS”
That will keep most of the conservatives in line.
I do assume the RINOs will be a problem and Trump may have to back a primary chellenger and take out one just keep the herd in line.
The fact they voted 5 or 6 times to repeal ObamaCare knowing it’d be vetoed but, now in power, haven’t voted once to do the same thing speaks volumes.
George Will has butthurt.
