What a difference a few days makes.
If the bulk of the major media had been experiencing grief over the election of President Trump, it appears as though the White House press corps has reached the stage of acceptance.
Acceptance that Trump is the president, Sean Spicer is the White House press secretary, and thats the way it will be.
A truce, of sorts. And a largely amiable one at that.
It was just last Wednesday that the establishment press appeared to be in an all-out war with the White House.
When President Trump used a press conference to attack what he called fake news coming from some major news outlets, reporters complained bitterly and launched fiery exchanges with the commander in chief.
(Although, as WND reported, the president himself seemed more amused than aggravated, with Rush Limbaugh remarking, Folks, hes enjoying this like Ive never seen a president enjoy a press conference. Hes toying with these people.)
*snip*
Tuesdays was the first daily press briefing in a while, owing to the presidents travel to Florida and the federal holiday Monday.
Spicer began on a friendly and collegial note, saying he had missed the press, evoking a ripple of gentle laughter.
And that set the tone.
The daily White House briefings appear to have settled into a groove of a mostly cordial, calm and professional mutual respect.
Reporters and Spicer alike seemed relaxed and friendly, while always staying on point, pursuing their own agendas and topics of interest.

Winner! They are just regrouping.
Feel good affirmative action has a high price. And there is rarely any gratitude. There is only contempt.
What ever happened in the Comey meeting is washing over DC. I suspect it to be leaked before Friday.
Only indicates? We've known for a long time just how crazy he is. The most dangerous place in the world is between him and a TV camera. He'd crush you like an asteroid to get his smug face in front of millions of people. The only people he cares about are the ones most expedient to him at the time.
Comey’s getting fired? ...just a wild guess......LOL.
True................. all nauseatingly true.
Need more of them being crushed and driven ...
But wymynz lamentations are always good.
——The media just doing some pre-damage control. ——
Also, getting out ahead of the story, John Podesta was loudly criticizing the FBI for the election loss. He is in panic trying to ward off the indictments that are surely coming
Folks want to watch/listen to/read the news for the old fashioned -
1) Who,
2) What,
3) When,
4) Where,
5) How, and to a lesser degree
6. Why!
Instead, the MSM has tried to turn the front page into the editorial page. Major Headlines, not Major editorial comments from the editor/owner of the newspaper.
I saw this as I watched Public Information Officers (PIO) attempt to work with the press so that press releases and stories released were accurately represented. I have witnessed reporters in press conferences arguing with the presenters over the story then to see later the reporters incorrect view of the story published as if it were fact.
Don't believe what you read in the newspaper became my new reality. Today, I don't waste time on news other then what I can gather from original sources.
We do not learn our best history from high school history books, we obtain our best history from first person accounts, documents/correspondence of that day, photography drawings capturing details of the event. We do not receive our best history from a filtered representation. Example, the Civil War was not about slavery, rather it was a clash between the Industrial North and the agrarian South; a clash over State's rights vs. Federalism. The Civil Was was not a battle of good vs. evil, for most of those fighting from the South were more God-fearing then the Yankee soldiers.
Cheers to Mr. Trump for standing the ground for each of us. He takes to the podium and defines Bully Pulpit each time he speaks. He honed those skills in all those campaign rallies, and his energy comes from the millions that continue to voice our strong and loud support for him.
John Bolton’s definition of press freedom (they can write whatever they want. Period. And are not deities above criticism) combined with Shephard Smith’s meltdown told me that this moment was coming.
Now, the smoking hole in the bureaucracy that used to be the 7th floor at the state department will have a similar effect on the other potentially rogue portions of agencies.
The power of the presidency is immense if one wants to use it.
Is he still out of the country?
And, enquiring minds want to know, what ever will Linda and Flake do after it goes down... today? Or will it wait 'til he gets back from his trip to Germany and Saudi?
They realize that Trump can freeze them out totally, which will lead their employers to wonder why they continue to cut the paychecks.
Don’t count on it....they are calling Trump racist and anti Semitic.....they are trying to pick off his advisers one by one
Schumer basks in the limelight...the media will cast the glow on any congressional source willing to bash Trump.
It’s a mutual admiration society.
Major Shift!!!?
Maxine Waters RANT on CONSERVATIVE RADIO!
She should Choke on Her Racist Crap!
Freakin demons NEVER sleep!! Beware of pukes bearing gifts! Stay strong!

Yes, the d-rat party is indeed needy. Seated before the attorney for the estate as he reads the last will and testament, they hear their future and mourn the loss of their leader. He’s the Won who decided he can take it all with him, leaving nothing for ‘them’ (his fellow travelers). Lost in the woods, they know nothing other than there before them are so many trees that need a hug.
Seen this? Dear Senator fundraising from Russians in 2008. Letter refusing his request.
