NWS cancels flash flood warning for area around Nevada dam

The National Weather Service in Reno, Nevada is warning of an "imminent" dam break about 85 miles northeast of the Reno-Lake Tahoe area.
The NWS is urging people to evacuate immediately.

One thing about northern Nevada. It’s either raining or snowing or hot or windy or three out of four at once. I will say though, I love the high desert basin.Agree on all counts. Best views year round!

And I remember when there wasn’t an I-5 in the San Joaquin valley.Having grown up in the San Joaquin Valley with close relatives in San Francisco, I remember driving old 99. I was too little to remember how we got to SF but I remember the old Casa de Fruita. How far it's come from those days!
