The US can give the boot to virtually every illegal immigrant in the country, and those caught crossing the southern border will be busted or sent packing, according to memos issued Tuesday by the Department of Homeland Security.
The new rules reflect the Trump Administrations get-tough stance on illegals and are an about-face from the Obama administrations catch and release policy which let non-criminal undocumented immigrants remain in the US even after being caught.
The memos put into practice policies outlined in two executive orders President Trump signed last month.

The new policy expands the priority list for deportation, including for crimes related to illegal immigration such as the use of forged documents, people charged but not convicted of a crime and anyone immigration authorities consider to pose a danger to the public.(My emphasis.)
The emphasized parts probably cover the large majority of illegals, especially in sanctuary jurisdictions. After all, most have committed identity fraud to stay and a huge, indeterminate number have illegally registered to vote and illegally voted.

I would and I think Trump would, but certainly the priority for searching is to search for those who have committed known new crimes since breaking into the country.

Yes, you and I would, but he didn’t stress his idea that all illegals would be deported. I was waiting for him to start finding excuses. I’m glad he’s stressing it now.

He is prioritizing first on illegals that murder Americans. Most people would not argue with that approach.
I agree and I support that. That was not intended as criticism. It was intended to convey I’m happy he’s including others too.
Trying to understand the article...is it saying that now illegals caught can be deported without a hearing?
