The No More Black Targets campaign argues that shooting ranges and instructors should not use "menacing" black targets, and is petitioning to end the practice, citing trigger bias.
"Young black men are 3X more likely to be shot by trained shooters than their white peers," notes the site for the campaign. "A disturbing potential correlation: The most popular target for shooters to learn to use their firearm is a black silhouette. Unconscious bias can be deadly."

Good one, worth remembering!
But, if that's true, why do we have a "shadow government?"
I officially quit the Democratic Party fifteen years ago though I had voted for Republican candidates for office before that. I couldn’t take any more of the extreme left turn the party was taking and bailed on them. It looks like the brainwashing and insanity is just getting worse over there.
Well that ‘group’ needs to not use black targets then, i’ll use whatever the heck I want, not what some ‘group’ wants.
No More White Bread!!!!
...and what about black holes, dark matter, newsprint, skunks, geez, this is how insanity is passed on.
I remember when the most popular target at most ranges was a black guy holding a white woman hostage. Now that was pretty un PC. A black silhouette not so much. :-)
Why do they think they own the color black?
Don’t do the crimes and then the targets won’t seem so realistic and appropriate.
When they do a TV interview with a mob guy in the Witness Protection Program, he’s always silhouetted in black to hide his identity. I guess they should do away with this practice as well.
Gray and some white targets are also out of bounds. They offend seniors.
So now they are going to make it a hate crime for shooting black targets? I’m guessing it is equally bad to shoot targets wearing a turban too?
Wait until they find out, Black and White TV only uses a white signal!
Black is ZERO!!!
Or a dude wearing a dress to give the trannies some attention.
Wait until these retards discover many old westerns had the good guys wearing white on white horses & the bad guys wearing black on a black horse.
Or how about the black cat folklore.
Well that’s pretty freaky. What movie is that from?
I sense a movie: Wethaw Weapwon
And if they used white silhouettes on a black background, it would mean that the crowd behind them was the target....
there fixed it...
