Bolton is the least political or your typical D.C. Bureaucrat of the bunch....he does know foreign affairs....he gets the vote from here. "...Trump has reportedly had an issue with Bolton's white mustache, facial hair..." That's just BS...hair isn't an issue with this President...how could it be?

I don’t think I’d be against that if Bolton disavowed any future involvement or consultation with Bush operatives and their ilk.

It could be if you had to look at that mustache every day during the briefing.

Bolton worked for the neocons and some of that transferred to him. With that said, he appears to be the most qualified person with the insider knowledge to take on the entrenched shadow government at state.

If he is to be part of the administration it seems to me he would be most effective as the right hand of Tillerson.

"Trump has reportedly had an issue with Bolton's white mustache"

Well, we know that Trump has a preference for a certain "type".

For whatever reason he's obviously comfortable among those with military backgrounds.

...and long legs.

Bolton is just too war-happy for my liking. We need someone who doesn’t believe in intervening first and asking questions later.

Bolton is a good man, but he wouldn't my pick as being the most knowledgeable in the field of National Security.

Unrepentant neocon. Globalist. Wants new cold war, thinks all was fine in middle east with us till Obama. Cheney boy. No thanks until he develops a hard and documented track record of supporting a turn to the Trump foreign policy.

I like Bolton, but he’s been swimming in the MSM swamp a little too long for my taste.

https://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/25/opinion/john-bolton-to-defeat-isis-create-a-sunni-state.html?_r=0

As recently as a year ago, he was saying to defeat ISIS, create a Sunni state.

Still a moron, dancing like a monkey on a stick for his Saudi and Gulf State money masters.

Please not another Obama Admiral or General. Trump is really pushing his luck there. He’s bound to come up snake eyes soon dipping into that pool.

John Bolton and Ted Cruz share something in common. They both have a long history of not being able to get along with their work colleagues, including those who share their political convictions.

Bolton would be a disaster for the fledgling Trump administration.

Pres Trump needs to put this guy in his place w/out delay.

Cruz is acting delusional a-g-a-i-n....... can't accept the fact that he screwed-up his political chances at anything.

Trump bent over backwards to give the Maple Leaf-loving Canadian another chance.

Cruz's insufferable performance at the convention might have gone over better if the NY delegation hadn’t given him a very loud Bronx cheer.

Not endorsing Trump was a total miscalculation----Cruz figured he'd been transformed into another Reagan.

Later, reality sets in.....Mel Adelson refused Cruz entry into his suite.

I don’t know. Does Bolton understand the threat posed by the globalists and the deep state? Is he a part of it or is he compromised? What is his view on Soros, the Klintoons and 0bama’s 30,000 brown shirts? Does he aknowledge that elements of the pentagon, State were responsible for aiding and abetting Al Queda which morphed into ISIS? Does he believe in any 4th amendment restraints with respect to the intel community and NSA? What is his take on this Trump as a Russian spy crap? Of course we have to be wary of Putin as a competitor, but does he believe that a positive relationship with Putin/Russia is feasible?
Do the usual neoconservatives like Kristol, Kissinger, McLame strongly support him?

No way. Bolton is politically ambitious. He has his own PAC and endorses about every RINO in DC, including John McCain. Trump’s people have to know this. His appointment would certainly be proof that the Trump Administration feels it needs to suck up to Neocons out of weakness.
