Much of the media in Washington, D.C. and New York and Los Angeles, in particular, speaks not for the people but for the special interests and for those profiting off a very, very obviously broken system. The press has become so dishonest that if we don’t talk about it, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people, a tremendous disservice. We have to talk about it, to find out what’s going on because the press honestly is out of control. The level of dishonesty is out of control. I ran for president to represent the citizens of our country. I am here to change the broken system, so it serves their families and their communities well. I am talking and really am taking
This morning because many of our nations reporters and folks will not tell you the truth, and will not treat the wonderful people of our country with the respect that they deserve. And I hope going forward we can be a little bit, a little bit different and get along better if that’s possible. Maybe it’s not, and that’s OK too. I thought he sounded tired and somewhat subdued for most of what I heard - certainly not the firebrand I got used to hearing on the campaign trail.
POTUS has got to be the most demanding job in America, if not the entire world.
That being said, I thought he was spot on in his attacks on certain portions of the media.

Rather than “leakers” he should use the words “politicized shadow government”

Please pray that Jesus Christ protect President Trump, his family, security teams, Administration, family, friends and everyone helping (AG Jeff Sessions, the “White Hats” in the FBI, the NSA, CIA etc..) their families, friends, etc.. always to assist in bring these evil forces down. I hope he gets some rest. I thought he sounded tired, too. I’ve heard he doesn’t sleep much in the first place, but with all the worries he now has, it must be that much more difficult.
I posted on the live thread that, at the risk of bringing up memories of Obama (!), perhaps he should take a day, maybe a Saturday, to relax and play golf.
Or just take a long nap. I hope his doctor is monitoring him; maybe he can be prescribed a sleeping pill from time to time.
Although something tells me Trump wouldn’t want it. He probably wants to be ready for anything at all times.

I’ve long been waiting for someone - anyone - to take the major media in this country by the scruff of the neck and tell them loudly and clearly to stuff it. Please, President Trump, keep it up. That goes for anyone else who can assist.
I don’t have all their phone numbers, and they would not give a rat’s behind if I called.
Obama made the job look easy—just read the teleprompter and obey the powers-that-be in NY and DC, and take lots of golf vacations.
Trump called DC a swamp and nailed it—now he is hip deep in the big muddy.

Agree, It was a FANTASTIC press conference. I appreciated how President Trump talked about the media’s tone. It’s so true. The underlying hate, disrespect, and politicization ALWAYS comes through with the leftist media. They NEVER give a whole-heartedly positive headline or report. The root problem is that they are not Americans but leftists. They are negative and division oriented and that IS going to change.
